Your enthusiasm and attention to details are on point, l listen to you on the way to work, which is an hour drive you wake me up and sometimes have my blood pressure up by the time I get there, but that’s what a great story teller does, you keep my attention (even though I have ADD lol) Keep up your great work!❤️

Favorite podcast!

Love KJ’s Honesty and Bluntness

I went back to the beginning and I believe it was on Season 2 she announced Patreon. I listened to that point, immediately jumped screens and became a part of the Crime Family, right away. Love the straightforward way you approach cases and are not afraid to express a REAL opinion. So many are too worried about Stars and ratings to express one way or the other. Whether I agree or disagree, I admire your honesty. Great podcast. And I don’t often disagree, btw.

Honestly - KJ Isn’t Mean

I love how honest and direct KJ is with her reporting/retelling of crimes. She really conveys the pain & fear of victims and the unjust they went through. It’s kinda sad how many podcasters/journalists diminish the acts of violence on victims. Also, love her accent/voice.

Kelly, I’m a Michigander (Stupid term used by politicians in Michigan 😆 I LOVE Your Podcast ! I admonish your delivery of these very delicate , sad cases- that you report on. I LOVE your direct way (and, your cute accent) of telling the true story-with class and grace, and your “special language” allowed and encouraged for such cases! I will forever be a Loyal listener & look forward to every podcast you releas! I look forward to attending a live podcast event in the future (my family would think I’ve gone Bonkers!- they just don’t understand True Crime Podcasts…) Kelly- I think your podcast is exactly how you say it is-in your epilogue…Straightforward and Factual evidence for us to decide if you’re Guilty or an Innocent victim of a crime.

Dang Kelly…..that episode with your student, the prison inmate, and the preacher was absolutely amazing. Sometimes we feel spontaneously compelled to spread grace, and love, at people, on purpose. My success rate is pretty high. My business plan is….its free ❤️

I was hooked immediately. I’m only in the first ten or so episodes at this time, but I’ve easily become obsessed. And let me just say, when I realized that you and Woody are affiliated, I lost my mind. I’ve been bingeing Woody’s podcast for months and was so shocked to find someone as passionate as Woody with that same fantastic accent who experienced Bloody Angola. Thank you!!!

Superb!!!

KJ is one of the BEST!! She tells it like it is, with no apologies. I LOVE her style; she’s a phenomenal podcaster. She gives in-depth information, and is an advocate for the victims and survivors. If you want true crime told from an honest perspective, and if you’re not easily offended, she’s your girl!!!

Real stories with a real take

Kelly’s background, experience, and research she puts into every episode shows in her story telling and talk of detail. Giving a behind the scenes look of what others may leave out, she holds nothing back. I love the deep dives in learning something new with each episode. The victims are what’s important here and she gives them their time. I also love how she explains the laws (for better or worse) and how they play into the story and sentencing. Listen to one episode and you’ll be hooked!
