We all had to be shuttled into a gym and the FBI showed up and atf and it was like hold on to your butt crack because this is not good. But luckily for us, we didn't blow up. It was just some idiot who decided to cause chaos and try to make everybody and their mama upset. There was nothing at the school, but hey, you're gonna face some federal charges, Padna. If you're listening, I hope, hope it was worth it because you, my friend, are about to be in a shitload of trouble. But hey, the kids got to learn about momb threats and now I'm going to start there in my curriculum whenever I'm teaching them about nine on one dispatch. So thanks for the intro, I guess if I have to give thanks. Now, if you remember last episode, we are doing our nineteen Day Devil.

3:53 This is part two and it is all about the Dakota Tario story, but not him, actually his victims that were focusing on. And this one takes a minute to get into. If you recall there was a whole lot of players. Episode one I did on my Facebook go post a family tree photo. So if you want to go back and use your resources to see who the hell is who, please go do that. It might help to lay this out for you. But mainly last episode was about Dakota Terrio and then he had a wife named Kim. Now him and Kim were young when they got married. It didn't work out. They ended up getting divorced, and he was an absolute domestic abuser. He beat the shit out of Kilm and things were not, you know, very good between the two of them.

4:39 I thought, though, I'd back up just a hair here today and go back to talking about his parents for a second. If you remember, Dakota's parents were Lee and Keith Terrio, Lee's real name being Elizabeth. But we're going to be about November of twenty eighteen here, and that's when Dakota's father, Keith, and Dakota got into a physical altercation that ended up breaking Keith's shoulder. The tensions were very high at this time, but Dakota had remained in the home and everybody knew. Look, you know, Dakota's mom always would try to de escalate things. She would intervene, try to smooth things out whenever the two guys would tie up into their fights and disagreements. It was very obvious that she loved her son, but she also loved her husband. However, they were just firing gasoline. Keith and Dakota could not get it together. They just did not get along, and Dakota always felt like she would take Keith's side, even when she was defending Dakota. He would say, oh, no, you took Dad's side. No one wants to listen to me. You know, nobody loves me. YadA YadA ya.

5:40 And again, Dakota's drug usage became a huge issue about this time, and shortly before that fight with his father, Dakota was actually kicked out of a bar for acting like an absolute looney tune and he was jumping on pool tables and was high as a kite and acting like a fool. I read a report that the bartender from that bar had written given her statements about how he acted that day, and basically it sounds like he was meted out and acting like a total idiot. So, you know, Dakota didn't even appreciate his mother's attempts to try to protect him or to defend him, because you know, he repaid his mom's efforts by punching her in the face outside of that bar. And then Dad got so upset by that that he pulled a knife on Dakota. And it was just a hot ass mess in this family of trying to handle him and deal with each other. On top of this, Keith had shared which is Dakota's dad. Keith had shared something with the bartender that if you came to my live event, I did not mention it wasn't because I didn't want to. It's because I think I just had a lot going on and I failed to mention it. But Keith had actually had a discussion with the bartender about how his nine millimeter his weapon, his gun went missing, and he was pretty upset about that because he knew where his gun was and it wasn't there anymore. And he had actually confronted Dakota about his gun being missing. Now, when he confronted confronted Dakota, that's when he

7:11 found cocaine in Dakota's possession. So the gun went missing, he went to go confront Dakota about it, and then on top of that, he finds cocaine on Dakota. So on January twenty first of twenty nineteen, that is when Dakota's parents kicked him out of the house that they were all still sharing together. Also, remember they shared with two other roommates, Jacob Chastnall and their other friend, Kim Minks, So there was a lot of people in this house. But they kicked him out and this is just five days before we would have mass murder, so they kicked him out. You know, he wasn't contributing to the home. He had these chronic violent tendencies. His anger issues combined with dope just made it absolutely impossible to live with him.

7:57 And it turns out that at on top of the cocaine, he was also doing crystal meth as well as smoke and marijuana. So he's doing uppers and downers and all rounders, if you will, and it just wasn't making things easy. So Dakota's problem also was with authority. And this is well documented because I don't I'm not sure if I mentioned this last episode or not, But going back a few years, Dakota had entered the military whenever he was married to Kim. That's why he had hurried and married Kim. He had entered the military because he wanted to go try to make something of himself after he had been kicked out of high school and went to that YCP program. And you know, he actually didn't make it very long in that program in the military. Because you want to know why, you know, was it a medical reason got kicked out? Did he get hurt in action. Was it something along those lines, something honorable kind of No, he got kicked out because he punched his superior in the face, which got him a dishonorable charge. And he was basically just not getting the hint that he couldn't behave that way. When he returned home from the military, he made no life changes. I mean there was literally it's like he did not sit down and reflect on the fact that he was a complete asshole. He like totally missed the boat there that maybe it's a me problem not a everybody else problem, and so he just kept doing what assholes do, causing problems wherever he went.

9:24 So his parents, like I told you, kicked him out of the house. He had beat the hell out of his wife and she had been done with him as well, and so he really had nowhere to go at this point. Now, something I didn't tell you last episode, but I want to go back and tell you right now, is that about the time that Dakota joined the military. So I know you're like, Kelly, you keep going backwards, but I kind of want to add these things in. Something happened that is going to play an integral role here shortly, But it didn't seem like it was as series of an issue when it happened. So right before he went to the military, he and his wife, Kilm because they were still married at the time, had gone to a waffle house.

10:11 Now, at this waffle house, they actually met up with a police officer. She was a state trooper who was mentoring Kilm Dakota's wife at the time, and was trying to help her, you know, with some life advice and help her to make better decisions about her life. Will Dakota was with her while they went to this waffle house. And they went to the waffle house was an Ascension Parish, which is kind of a neighboring parish of Livingstone Parish where I am. And while they were there and talking about making better life decisions, the officer said, well, you know, they looked hungry, they looked tired or whatever. So I said, come on in, I'll buy you something to eat. The officer even remembered I bought her a cheeseburger. Right. Well, while they're eating and discussing life choices, is Dakota just flat out starts telling this officer that he doesn't like the police and he's not gonna like the police. And she inquired as to why, and basically it was because he's never had good interactions with them. Now, why has he never had good interactions with them? Because he's never doing anything positive.

11:15 He's always high or cracked out or whatever his decision making was at that time. And so every time they come around, they're handling something right. And so she tells them, we'll look, you know, maybe you've just had bad experiences with police, because thus far you haven't had gotten to have a positive interaction with a police officer. So let's make this a good one. Nice to meet you, right, I'm officer so and so, And she bought them dinner and he said, well maybe so whatever. But he then goes on to talk about how much he hates his parents and that he can't get along with his parents. They don't, you know, like him. He doesn't like them, and goes on to tell this officer about how he hopes one day to be able to get a shotgun kicking their door or kill them and then hopefully the police will kill him. Right, that kind of murdered by suicide thing. Now, before we go further, I know right now, you're like, wait, he said that, and the cop didn't do anything. All right, I hear you. But when you're dealing with troubled youth and it's not a direct threat, he doesn't say I'm going to get the shotgun, I'm going to kill them. It was more like, I wish I could just do this. You got to kind of sometimes mitigate what you're dealing with. And so she didn't know Dakota, Well she did, no kil she's talking to them. She obviously tried to talk him out of it and said, obviously that's a terrible idea. How about we try to make some positive changes in your life where you could go further.

12:39 You should join the military, right, you could get housing, you could get money, you can get training, schooling. And she tried to just redirect that attention. Now, and I know some people reached out to me that went to the live when I mentioned this and was like, ally, that officer should have done something because he obviously went crazy in the future. Well, I think the officer did what she could do. You know what I'm saying. He didn't say I have a gun and I'm going to kill them. He didn't say I'm going when I leave here to kill them. He just said it would just be easier. I wish I could just get rid of them, and wishing something is not a direct threat. You gotta have probable cause. And I don't think that it really met the muster of that. I think it was more of like a kid mouth than off. He just looked like a kid who didn't have much guidance, and she tried to redirect and give better guidance. All right, So just to address that, that's kind of where I think things were at that time. So kind of going back to where we left off last episode, we were talking about how Dakota had gotten arrested for beating the hell out of kilm and a lot of injury to her. He knocked her front bottom teeth out, there was bruising to the side of her face. He had destroyed her car, and so she was done with him. Even though they were divorced. This had happened, and I went and got some more of my records to kind of address this a little bit further about what happened. And whenever you look at the narrative written by the police office or when this occurred. I was reading through it, and it says that they were married for you know, approximately a year and then they got divorced, and that Kim had remained intimate with

14:13 Dakota after they divorced. And I don't think this is that far fetched of an idea. She loved him, He just was abusive to her. And so the fact that they divorced but still remained intimate, like, let's get real. We all know divorces where that happens. Okay, we all know divorces where that happens. They just can't make that clean cut. But she also advised the police officers at this time that he had been diagnosed as bipolar schizophrenic and that he was currently homeless right because he'd been kicked out of his parents house. And you know, even though they were divorced, they still sometimes would stay together. But this was something that is so common. Kim did not wish to report the previous incidences to the police because she feared for his well being. She said, in her young mind, he's totally ill, and policing is not going to solve his problem. And to her point, I think that's true. You know, when you go to jail, you know, if you don't have all of your ducks in a row and the police don't know that you've been diagnosed schizophrenic and you don't have your medication on you, it can make things evolve and become worse. Matter of fact, true story. I was at the casino with my sweetheart husband Blake, and we were just having a good little weekend out and this woman sat down next to us, and I don't know what happened. She and I just hit it off. Wonderful lady. We're just having a good time. And as the conversation evolved just to this point is why I'm kind of sidestepping here.

15:39 She said, did you ever hear the story about the guy in Baton Rouge last year who went into prison and then ended up committing suicide? And y'all, that happens a lot, but I did know the actual instance she was talking about, And she said what happened was that he was a diagnosed schizophrenic and when he went into the jail, he was telling them that he was hearing voice. But he passed the check that they do. He passed everything at the time that he went into the jail, But then he started asking for medication. They don't have any medication to give him. They're not doctors, and there's nothing documented, and he ended up committing suicide, and she believed that his schizophrenia, which was not acknowledged at that time, is what resulted in his death. Well, I could kind of see here in that same instance why Kim would be upset because she didn't think that the jail was really going to help him. Now, something else that jumped out to me, And if you're watching right now on Patreon, you can look.

16:34 Jimothy grabbed this and pull it forward to the camera. This is the actual records, Okay, that I went and pulled, so I'm not just reading from something I read online. This is her actual report and on here. Something that was interesting to me too is that Kim Terrio, and this is a direct quote, kept the abuse by Dakota Terrio hidden from her parents until today, which was August fifteen, twenty seventeen, because what happened was after he hurt her so severely and knocked her teeth out, she went to her parents home and it caused a disturbance in the home and they were shocked to see what had happened to her. Kim's parents told her to report his transgressions to the police. And that is why she went and she told at that point, y'all, this is so common. If you could see the messages of people that are sent to me privately saying thank you so much for bringing this to a people's attention, because so many people are in domestic abuse situations but they don't speak up because they fear the person that's hurting them, but they also love the person, whether it's misguided or not, and they don't want something to happen to them. But y'all failure to failure to come forward and to handle this domestic violence at this point in time, I'm not blaming Kim. Please do not misread what I'm telling you or misunderstand it. But what if all of those times could have compounded and his ass was in a jail and he wouldn't have been free to do the things that are about to

18:06 come? Just what if? And I don't want him to carry that burden. She's a victim, but what if. If you are in a domestic violent situation, please tell people, Please tell people whoever it is, because if not, it escalates. And every domestic violence expert that I know that I've spoken to, and with everything that I've ever researched. It only escalates. It only escalates people if someone's willing to knock your teeth out and bash your face in. If you don't think they're capable of killing you, you're missing something very very important there. They're capable. They are absolutely capable. So something else. Further on down on the report, the officer wrote, it should be noted when asked if she wished to pursue charges against a Codo Tario for her damaged property. Remember he tore up her car or bashed the windshield in, broke the mirrors off, She advised she did not want to pursue the charges. And it probably sounds crazy to someone right now, what you tear my car up, blah blah blah blah blah. That's easy for you to say if you don't love somebody. She loved him right or wrong, you know. Then. Even sadder to me is that the officer wanted her to seek medical attention because she was hurt. And the reason that she did not want to seek medical attention from this incident is due to her not having insurance and monetary funds. This is common in domestic abuse. You can't

19:41 afford the medical bills. So even if you want to go to the hospital because your teeth are knocked out, or your eye socket is broken, or your arm is sprained, or your leg is injured, or your eye is blacked, or your hair is ripped out, or whatever the issue is, it's not come. It's not common that this is someone who comes from a low socioeconomic status. They don't have the money to pay the bill, so they just don't go. It's like it just compounds itself. Right, she didn't want to go because she couldn't afford the bill. That's heartbreaking to me. That money keeps you from getting medical attention. So this whole report is just heartbreaking. They got statements from them, and they made note about everything that had happened to her. They did attempt to contact Dacoda Tarryo buy his phone number that they had at the time, but they were unable to contact him, and this officer did leave a voicemail request and that Dakota would contact him, and at that point the case was what it was until they were able to find him and bring him in and question him. Now, they do end up getting ahold of him and he does end up getting arrested on this charge. And the thing that that goes into play here is a thing called Gwen's Law. Now I am going to do an episode on this.

21:04 I think it's just crazy important law for people in Louisiana to know. This went into effect in Louisiana a few years ago, about twenty seventeen. But basically, Gwen's Law sets the rules and the standards for hearings before bail is set. If the person who is arrested under like domestic abuse, battery, or violation of a protective order, stalking, something along those lines, they have to go before a judge before their bail can be set. And like I said, I will do an episode on this because I want y'all to know it. Y'all. Information is so powerful, it's so powerful to have.

21:44 But Gwen's Law came into effect here because this was a domestic abuse battery case right where he beat the hell out of her and she was injured severely. It wasn't like she just had a bruise, her teeth were knocked out right. And on this Gwen's Law checklist again, if you're looking, guys, I have the report right here, the actual report. They go through this screening of him, and it goes through his criminal history, and on the criminal history it does show that he has two counts of theft. He does have a possession of weed drug paraphernalia. He's got an aggravated flight from an officer, obstruction of justice. He's got a lot of charges here, including an arrest with possession of believe marijuana, and his dad was actually with him during that arrest. But you know, on this protective warrant, this Gwen's Law checklist, it goes through the fact that the victim here was severely injured, that they took photos, and that they did get the nine one one call, and that they're trying to follow up to see how serious was this incident and doesn't meet the muster of Gwen's Law where he should not be immediately released with just some kind of preset bail. He needs to go before a judge. A judge needs to hear this to determine how serious of an issue is this. Okay, Now, based on this incident, the arrest warrant was signed, and part of this was that even though the arrest warrant

23:18 was issued, the victim here Kim tells them that she moved to Mississippi and kept saying, I don't think I want to press any charges because you know, I don't want She kept being refused to be interviewed, and she doesn't want to come to the office. She's in Mississippi, and she kind of the there's actually a handwritten note here by one of the officers that says you can't prosecute a victimless crime. I don't know if Kim said that or if Dakotas said that, but you can see how there was a whole bunch going on here. But it is stamped by the jail, so I do know that this was taken into consideration when he went to jail. If you're watching right now, if you're a patron member, you can kind of see up here at the big top where it says jail now one this same instance of Gwen's Law checklist. Guess what else? A protective order was put into place.

24:06 And I have the protective order here too. So on this protective order at the top, it is marked with a bail restriction right, and Gwen's Law puts that into place that you can't just issue. Okay, let me tell you all this. Some charges have preset bail for them. So like if you go in on a you know, like a DWI, or you go in on like a misdemeanor charge or something. I don't know what they are. Don't have the list in front of me, but they have preset amounts, so it's not like you have to have a judge tell you every single time. It's like a list that they could look at. But this took that opportunity away because of Gwen's law. Now, after this arrest, there was a protective order put into place, which I have here, and there's going to be something interesting in here that It's crazy that a protective order sounds so official to people, but I want people to understand a protective order is literally what I'm holding right now. Can you hear it? It's a piece of paper. Real quick? Do you think this stops a bullet?

25:07 Has anyone ever met a piece of paper that stops a bullet? Because I haven't. Okay, A protective order is kind of like a CYA for you. That means, once you're murdered, I guess they have something to go back on to hold the person who is abusing you accountable. And I don't mean this ugly against the courts or the judges or the police officers. I'm just telling you it's a formality. But if someone is absolutely out to kill you, this does nothing. Please understand that if you're in a situation where you have to get a protective order, the paper is a formality. It's not going to stop a bullet. And I'm going to prove that to you shortly. But on this protective order, it shows there were bail restrictions, and it shows that a hearing was held. The judges and the courts are doing their job. This was actually in the twenty fourth Judicial District of Jefferson.

25:52 One of the things that is on here that is marked is that per this protective order, the order was issued after actual notice and an opportunity to participate in the hearing, and it was provided to the defendant. The court found that the defendant represents a and here's the key, credible threat or danger to the physical safety of the protected person. The court believed, Yeah, this guy's a problem. He's dangerous. He's so dangerous. We need to put something into effect here to keep this woman protected. Right, and guess what part of that part of that he has been charged with a crime against a family member, household, household member, or dating partner, and has been charged with the crime of stalking. Thus, the defendant is prohibited from possessing a firearm. Do you remember a minute ago me telling you that his dad told Bartender that his gun was missing and he thought that Dakota stole it.

27:03 It's because this ain't rocket science. This is not rocket science. This guy's dangerous. Mental illness to be damned. I don't care if he has mental illness in this situation. He's dangerous and dangerous. Trump's the mental illness issue here. It doesn't mean that we don't need to take that into account. It doesn't mean dang that sucks. His brain's misfiring, he needs to be on some type of medication. I'm not discounting that. But what this is telling you is he's dangerous. He poses such a threat we don't even want him in possession of a firearm. And I know he's been told because it's initialed. He knows this. The problem is that we have people in this country who don't give a damn what we tell them. They're called criminals.

27:49 The good people suffer. The criminals don't give a shit. You know, if you go to a school right now, there's a sign out front that says revised statute whatever per your state, and it says this is a firearm free zone, when the reality is the only person without a gun on campus are the teachers and the students. But the bad guy who walks up is absolutely going to have one, because it's just a fucking sign that tells you we're sitting ducks. It's kind of like this piece of paper. It's just a sign that she's a walking duck, and a defenseless one at that right, he's not supposed to have a gun. It says you are hereby ordered not to abuse, harass, assault, stalk, followed, track, monitor, or threaten the protected person Kimberly Terrio. You are ordered not to contact the person personally through a third party through a public posting by any means, including written, telephone, or electronic, text, email, social media.

28:48 You are ordered not to go within two hundred feet of this person. You are ordered not to contact this person's family personally through a third party through any posting, telephone, written, electronic. You were ordered not to go with one hundred yards of her residence. You are ordered not to go to the person's protective person's school, or the protective person's place of employment. And why am I telling you this? Why am I so fired up about it? Because he was ordered not to go near Kim, But guests who was never privy to this information, Guests who never knew how dangerous he was. Guests who never had the opportunity to know how dangerous he was. I'm gonna tell you who she was. Her name was Summer Earnest. Because while he was given all of these direct orders by a court to stay away from Kim, Summer never knew it. She never had the opportunity to be protected.

29:42 She never had a voice for herself. Why Because Summer only knew him a total of five days before she tried to help him by saying, Daddy, can he move in with us because he's been kicked out of his home and he doesn't have anywhere to go. Summer didn't know all of this. This is where we kind of as a society need to talk to each other and go wait a minute, Wait a minute, wait a minute. The law did what it was supposed to do. It recognizes that he's dangerous to the point that they think he might kill his ex wife helly borderline tried to He's hurt his parents, he's been kicked out of the military, he's dangerous, he's doing drugs. And we've got this piece of paper to protect her, but nobody else knows about it. And here's our poor Summer Earnest, the girl that met him at a funeral five days before tragedy, and she doesn't know how could she? A goodhearted person looks for the good in people.

30:45 It's a double edged sword, right. He even had a notice to defendant, And here's the docket number two one seven two one nine, two nine. I've got the form right here. He knew he should not be in possession of a firearm for any reason. That means he shouldn't be going to get one. That means he shouldn't get one from someone else, and that means no one else should provide one to him. And obviously he shouldn't steal one. But guess what, he gets a hold of one. Now. Something even crazier about this, And I'm actually going out of order of what I plan to do, but hey, it's my podcast and my brain's add so I'm going to go there is that in the future we're actually going to discuss this possession of the firearm, because there is a written statement of Summer's stepmother, Casey, where she acknowledges that she knew he had the gun.

31:45 She knew he had a gun in their home, and according to the report and the written statement that I'm reading, he held the gun up on a couple of occasions in their home, which I'm not trying to judge Casey, Okay, I'm not, but that would alarm me if someone who just moved into my home that I don't know that's couch surfing, couch surfing, is holding a firearm, especially when I have two little ones in my home. But she knew he had the gun because he held it up and showed it to her and then said sh and slid it back under a pillow. So I don't know if Casey was afraid. I don't know exactly what the situation was at this point, but they knew he had a gun. But I guarantee you Kim probably didn't know that he was not supposed to be in possession of one, thus didn't realize necessarily what danger she might have been in.

32:37 Right, all right, So let's talk about Summer Ernest Summers the girl that met Dakota at the funeral. Right she accompanied her dad, Billy two to that funeral of a family friend. So I've got some pictures of Summer right here in front of me, and I just can't It doesn't matter. I've said before that she's a beautiful girl, but she is, and she's a happy girl. She's miling. She's got long brown hair and big brown eyes and beautiful white teeth, and it just seems like your salt of the earth kid, just trying to make her way in life. And at this point, remember she and her boyfriend had broken up. Sean she went and she moved in with her dad. Dad Billy helped her move into the home.

33:20 It was Billy and Casey ernest home, and shortly thereafter that's when they met Dakota, and Dakota didn't have anywhere to go, and she says, Dad, can Billy excuse me, can Dakota move in with us? Now? From people that I've spoken to, Billy gave a little pushback at first, They that he didn't necessarily want this guy moving into the home with his daughter and his wife and his kids. He didn't really know the guy. But then it kind of started being more like, you know, maybe maybe he could help around the house, maybe he could be helpful to me. And they lived in a little trailer off of Courtney Road in Walker, Louisiana. And I've got a picture of it right here. It's just your average rund of the meal, you know, single wide trail, and it's just in a trailer park. Nothing big, fancier special. But the fact that these people let him move in when they already had a full home, to me, tells you something about them. That they were kind, that they were willing to open their door to an absolute stranger just to help him get on his feet. He didn't have anything to offer them. Obviously he's an asshole.

They have two small children, Heaven and Christopher. Plus they have Summer who just moved in with them because she broke up with her boyfriend. And they have Tanner Ernest, which is Summer's brother, who comes to visit. Okay, and there's another brother too named Hunter who comes to visit. So there's a lot of people that are in and out of this trailer that live there.

And that just shows you the genuineness of Billy Earnest Heart that he would do that because this guy had nothing to nothing to offer. Now, let me tell you a little bit about Billy Ernest. Okay, I never met him. I've spoken to a lot of people that knew him, and y'all, this was a good guy. This is a good man. He was a blue collar worker. He was forty three years old, white male. And the pictures of him, he always has a mustache, brown hair, average build. Every picture that I see of him, he is smiling a thousand watts smile. I'm telling you, just grinning ear to ear. The picture I'm looking at right now, he's got his arms thrown around his sister. He's always got his LSU baseball cap one. He's just a genuinely nice, blue collar dude. He's remarried, like we said to Casey Ernest, and he is the proud father of five children, the five children being Summer Tanner Hunter, which are his three biological children with Rhonda that he divorced or that got divorced. Then he's got Heaven, which was not his biological child, but he raised since she was born, and then Christopher, and he was proud of those children. He was a daddy,

And I even pulled his obituary because to me, obituaries you can learn about people from those, and this was a direct quote. Billy Ernest was described as a kind hearted, trusting soul who lived his life for the Lord, his family, and LSU. And in that order, that should tell you about somebody, right. And y'all were from the South down here, you better bleed purple and gold on Saturday and black and gold on Sunday. Don't even play. Don't get it twisted, right, But this guy loved Jesus. He was a follower of Jesus. He loved his family, and he loved sports. And what I'm gonna do for you is I actually have a video of Billy on his front porch, and I think I think videos are really nice because you can kind of learn about someone's temperament and their style and their way of being. And he's actually singing a gospel song. He even gets choked up at one point while he's singing it and his voice cracks and his lip quivers. But I'm gonna post that video for you so you can kind of get to know Billy, because I feel like you should. You know, he was a nice man, But Billy Ernest was a good guy who opened his door to a stranger five days before mass murder. Now, within those few days, family members start kind of speaking up and saying, you know what, I don't think I like this guy that's moved into the home. I'm kind of I don't know, I'm not liking this guy. Now, who was it that said that they weren't liking him? Well, Kelvin. Now, if you remember, that's Summer Tanner

38:10 and Hunter's stepdad. If you will, they're not actually married. Ronda and Kelvin are not married, but just to keep it easy, that's their stepdad. Their stepfather figure Kelvin turned to the family at one point and said, I don't like that guy. He's on drugs. I don't trust him. Billy Summer's dad had a brother. His name was Jonathan, and Jonathan even said I don't think I like him. That dude's trash. You need to get him out of your house. Billy's own mother, which is Summer's grandmother, said Dakota is no good. Now, don't get it twisted. These people are not saying they're better than anybody. It wasn't about that. It was just that Dakota is not running the same speed as you, Summer.

38:50 He's not. He doesn't have goals and dreams and aspirations. He's kind of a mutt sitting here doing nothing and he's not really contributing much. So family started saying they didn't care for him. And from everything that I've learned, and again this is an opinion, but I think it's an educated opinion. I think Billy started picking up on that. I think it only took two days for Billy to figure out I don't think I need this guy in my house because three days before mass murder, Billy made a phone call to his brother. What was that phone call about? You guessed it. He wanted his brother to come help him get Dakota out of his house. Now, you tell me this. You meet somebody, they move into your house, they live there five days, and within two of those five days, you want him to leave. Tell me you didn't notice a problem pretty quickly.

They only knew this guy less than Monday through Sunday, five days. They knew him one day before mass murder. This is when things start kind of rolling into effect. All right, Summer and Tanner and Hunter, Right, all of the siblings were raised in church. They were going to go to a church camp. Tanner specifically was going to go to a local church camp. Now, one day before the church camp was supposed to occur, Tanner decided he changed his mind. He wasn't going to go to church camp. He wanted to go see his daddy that weekend.

Summer is living with them with Dad, right, So Summer's gonna already be there. Tanner's gonna go visit. Hunter is going to stay home with Mom. Let me tell you a little bit about Tanner. I don't know if you're like me, but I can literally fall in love with someone I never met, and Tanner I just adore and I never met him, but I've got thousands of pictures that his mother sent me, and I just love this kid.

He's like getting loose, getting ready for what I don't know, just getting loose, like he's just stretching it out. And another one he's like holding his mom's purse and pristing into Walmart, and he's just your typical, funny, lighthearted, silly one video, he comes like running into the living room and like flops on the floor, silly salmon, and he's like flopping around and it's just lovable, y'all. Just love. If I could have taught this boy, I'm telling you, I just would have loved him. I just would have thought he was the greatest. And I know that because he actually went to the school that I teach at, and one of the coaches there that taught him still teaches there today. And I got told a story about about him and he said, yeah, Tanner, Uh Tanner. Tanner was a little goob, right, and he would come in and hey, coach, how you doing, man? Blah blah blah blah blah, And he said that Tanner one day was sitting in his desk and he kind of drug his desk over by the coaches and coach looked at him and was like, what are you doing. He's like, coach, you know, Uh, I think we should start calling me coach coach and he said what he said, yeah, because when you're not here, you know I'm in charge, right,

But was he an absolute joy to be around? One hundred percent? And I'm telling you sometimes those are the best kids, the ones that they don't really do the work and they're not going to study, but they just make your day better. I'm telling you, I've had many of those in my teaching career in fifteen years, and I get this boy. I totally get him. I'm also going to post for you to Snapchat pictures that his mom shared with me because I think it says a lot about him. And one of them, he's in his little hoodie, you know, and at the bottom he wrote, good night, mom, love you, be careful on your way home. You know. This boy loved his mama.

44:20 And then another one, same thing. These guys a little air pods in and at the bottom it's his little face and he smiled and it says, good night, I love you, be careful on the way home, mama. He loved his mama just like Summer loved her mama. Tanner loved her too, and they were tight, tight kids with their parents, with their mom. So, if you remember, like I just said, Tanner was gonna skip church camp and he was gonna go visit his dad. Summer already lived there, Hunter decided that he was gonna stay home. That decision will be a life altering decision for all three of the kids within twenty four hours. So what happens the day before the murders. Billie goes to pick up the kids from his ex wife Ronda, and y'all, they have a decent relationship. I'm not saying it's all butterflies and sunshine, but it's a very decent relationship. It could have been worse, for sure. And Dakota was already hanging out with Summer at this time. So Dakota and Summer were at the house, Tanners at the house, everybody's at the house, and Dakota actually walks up to Ronda because this is the first time he ever formally meets Ronda. One day, one day before he destroys her life. One day, he walks up to her. Ronda was actually cleaning a car out.

45:51 She had borrowed a car from her friend because remember her car had broken down in the last episode Summer and her protecting about it. So she was cleaning the car out and he walks up and shakes her hand and says, hi, I'm Dakota and formally introduces himself, and she's like, hey, how you doing. You know, she didn't really think much of him whatever. And while that was happening, Summer had gone inside. She had to use the restroom and then Summer and Tanner come out, and Ronda said that they She said, hey, guys, I'll drive y'all to the front of the trailer park because it was a long drive and she didn't want them to have to walk. So Tanner Summer jumping the car will Dakota, being the rico suave that he is, was smoking a cigarette, so he didn't get in the car. He playfully like jumped on the side of the car and was holding on and just kind of hanging off like a trash man kind of, you know, literally and metaphorically, but hanging off the side of the car, smoking the cigarette. And Rod even said at one point she was joking with him, boy, I'm a run you over. If you fall off, you better hang on, and he was picking back with her. And anyway, they ride to the front of the trailer park and when they get up there, Billy's there and they all go to get in Billy's truck, and the last thing Ronda says to her babies is I love y'all. Tanner, don't forget you have a basketball game on Sunday, so don't be late.

So before I get into the gory details, because it is pretty bad, I want to explain to you the difference between mass murderer and serial killer. Some people don't quite understand the difference. So mass murder is going to be the killing of three or more people at one time. And they'll say in one location, but it means within one incident. So if someone shoots and kills ten people at a gas station and then walks next door to its completely different building and kills ten more people, it still would be mass murder even though it's a different location because it's the same incident, just extended, all right, So three or more people at one time in one incident, and remember I just told you mass murders about to occur three or more.

They all load up in the car and they are going to go drive Casey to work to drop her off, because remember, Dakota doesn't have a vehicle, and Billy and Dakota, excuse me, Billy and Casey have the one truck that they use, so Billy it goes and they drop Casey off. At one point they even stop at a gas station because Dakota is wanting cigarettes and I think, and they pick him up a pack of cigarettes, and then they drive back home.

Now the littles are there. Christopher and Heaven are there as well as Tanner and Summer. Right nine minutes later, eight o nine am, Dakota is seen tearing out of the driveway in Billy's truck. So the entire situation I'm about to tell you takes place in nine minutes at approximately eight fifteen am, just a few minutes after he tears out of the driveway. Livingstone Parish sheriff office receives a nine one one call from Billie's neighbor and she is distraught. At her front door is seven year old Heaven holding one year old Christopher, claiming that her entire family is dead. I'm going to insert that nine one one call here.

She's trying to understand what Heaven is saying happened, and Heaven has said that basically, her daddy's dead, her sister's dead, and her brother is dead. Now, there was some confusion in the audio. I'm not sure that I'm gonna that I've given the whole audio to you, because there's kind of some breaks in the sequence. But at one point they thought Tanner was the shooter and he was holed up in the bathroom. But that's not the case. We find out Tanner's actually dead in the bathroom, and heaven, let me tell you what, that little seven year old girl deserves so much respect for the fact that she walked out and witnessed what she witnessed and then had the presence of mind to grab her baby brother and run next door and recount that to an adult. What an amazing, amazing child she was and is. So when the police arrive, they find the trailer, and I'm going to describe it to you so you can kind of understand the walk through here. And I have the crime scene photos in front of me. Why at the time that I'm recording this, I'm not sure how or if I'll be able to share these with you because of the nature of the photos, but I will attempt to show you with respect, absolute respect to the victims. I will attempt

So when they walk into the front of the trailer, immediately there's a photo when you walk into the trailer and you're kind of look into the left and there's a lot of boxes that are stacked up on top of each other that say, like milk, allergen and keep refrigerated. Summer had just moved in, and so it's not hard to assume, hey, all over stuff is still maybe packed up in these boxes or something of that nature. But there, it's like they're not supposed to be there. They're stored there and stacked on top of each other. And as you walk further past that little entryway, you're in the kitchen, but directly in front of you is a brown leather recliner and in that recliner is Billy Earnt, who is clearly deceased. What is interesting about the photo is that he is in a complete and total rested position. He looks relaxed. He looks like he'd had no idea what was going to happen to him. He is in the seated position. His left leg is bent and is over the side arm of the chair, and his right leg is straight out and he's kind of just leaned back. He's dressed in it looks like work pants, you know, like the Blue City work pants. He's in a plaid long sleeve button up shirt. He has on his baseball cap. He almost looks like

1:02:45 he's sleeping. He's laid. His head's kind of to the side, and his hands are rested in his lap. He does not look like he was in a struggle. He does not look like he has been fighting for his life. It looks literally like he's watching TV. There's actually a TV right in front of him on a chest, so he's just like rested in the chair facing the TV. But he's got blood out of his nose, pouring down his mouth and down pooling on his chest. Looking at him, you cannot tell what's happened to him because it's there's not a lot of trauma other than you see a lot of blood. It almost looks like if you had a nosebleed, a horrible nosebleed, and then just didn't bother to wipe any of it off. But there's no obvious trauma to his face. He looks like he's sleeping. But as the crime scene photos continue, you look in his lap and you can clearly see his cell phone is just resting in his lap and his hand is just rested right next to it. But as you walk behind him and you look at him from behind in the chair, you can see a very small single bullet hole towards the bottom of his baseball cap at the back of his head and near the recliner. So if you're watching on Patreon, the bullet hole's right here on the back of my head where I'm pointing. So obviously this is an execution, an absolute execution from behind dang your point blank in the back of the head. He never had a chance. There's a little bit of blood spatter also on his left leg that's

1:04:18 propped up on the arm. You can see some tissue and some blood. But other than that, that one tiny hole ended his life into the face or into the back of the head. Now, as you continue further back behind Billy, there's a hallway, and this hallway has like kids toys and things kind of stacked up against the right side of the wall. And at first you think, Okay, I'm just looking down a hallway. But if you look very closely, there's a door that's a jar at the end of the hall and there's a door that's a jar kind of to the left. Okay, And if you look really really closely, you can see two feet one foot out of each doorway and it hits you, Oh my god, there's two more people. As you walk down that hallway. The first person that you come to at the end of the hallway is seventeen year old Tanner.

1:05:19 Tanner's laying deceased in the bathroom. He's flat on his back, his left arm is across his stomach lower chest area. His head is turned to the right, and his right arm is kind of fallen over, and his wrist is rested against the toilet, so it's like he just fell straight back. Upon further inspection, you notice that there is a single gunshot wound to the forehead. It's right above his left eye, and it is a point blank execution. The killer shot Billy in the back of the head, took four or five steps down the hallway. You can just see it that Tanner opened the bathroom door and shock that he heard a gunshot when he opened the door. The devil was standing right there and executed him point blank in his forehead. He never had a chance. Boom, he hits the ground.

1:06:20 Another photo in that same progression is the wall facing. It's the interior of the bathroom, but it's like you're looking out into the hallway, so it's basically what Tanner last saw was looking out of this doorway, and you can see how close that gunshot wound, how the proximity of the weapon to the head, because you can see all the blowback blood spattered on the wall, kind of dripping down the wall. And it's eerie because that's the last thing he saw before his little life was taken from him. He never had a chance. He never saw what coming, what was coming. He went straight backwards. And then immediately right after that gunshot wound was put to his head, all the shooter had to do was turn his arm to the right because the two doorways are right next to each other, and that is when Summer Ernest opened her bedroom door and he put a bullet straight into her face.

1:07:16 She is also deceased, laying on her back, kind of on her left side, with a single gunshot wound to the face and it's located right between her right eye and her lip. She never had a chance. You can even see the PATIKII. You can see the wound on her face and it's you know, indicative of a very close contact wound. The unburnt powder striking the skin. It causes like the superficial injury on her face and she's gone. I mean, it's just bam, bam, bam, and three people are murdered, and in nine minutes he's out the door to say that this wasn't planning. I think is bullshit. It's horrifying to look at these photos and to realize how quickly three lives were snuffed out, and the reason why is going to blow your mind. It's gonna absolutely blow your mind. They recover other bullets from the sheet rock, and I've got the photos of that where they cut the sheet rock and they pull it out. This is gonna be a nine millimeter bullet fragment. There's other photos too about the home where you know Billy was. His license is there, and Billy was even an organ donor. And you know, I'm a proponent of local Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency. But you can look in whatever state you're listening in and see what

1:08:48 organ donation agency you have. In Texas, I believe it's called TOPA. So it's just your your state's initial and then OPAH after it. You can become an organ donor. It's so simple and save people's lives. Billy was an organ doner. I've got other photos here after they remove Tanner and the amount of blood just covers the bathroom floor. There's barbies laying in it. I mean kids, kids bathed here. Billy and the others are also labeled. Their bodies are labeled. They have tags around their ankles. It's got no date information and another type of identification measures on them, so that the bodies are accounted for. And then they're as always, people are put into into body bags, right, and so I do have the photos of that as well. I'll share the body bag. It's it's sealed. You're not going to see anything horrifying if you don't know this. There's a lock on the body bag, and this is how it's always done. But we have to have chain of custody, not only of evidence but also of bodies, and so you'll see photographs of where it's locked. It takes a picture of the body bag being locked, and and then once they get to the coroner's office, they're gonna take pictures as they cut the lock, and so they make sure the right body is in the right bag, and so on and so forth. And one of the last photos that I have is the peel out marks in the gravel where Dakota tore out in that truck. The police didn't realize that they were. That's what it was when they first pull up,
