And we'll just get right into today's episode and look cover some topics that we're going to talk about today. A double murder in an Arkansas state park which led to a massive man hunt. We're going to talk about that.

A sixty nine year old man found out his wife was having A sixty nine year old man, mind you, finds out his wife is having a six year affair and he takes matters into his own hands. She buys a Lamba and the you know, we're paying for her benefits. She was in Medicaid. How do you like them? Apples? Love it. We're gonna talk about that. And of course, the big the big news of the week, I guess you could say, was an attack at a walmart where eleven people were stabbed before good Samaritans actually brought the incident to an end. I'm so proud I was able to set it up like which is a big deal for me. Usually I walk in and Jimithy has it already for me, but he's not in Florida, so. I'm definitely not in Florida. No. And I'm looking out right now off the balcony and staring at the water and I'm having a good time. Well, I'm looking out in the parking lot and there's a bunch of cars and oh, well, Jim, you know, we've got a lot of a lot of stories out of Florida today. So we'll say you're on you are on location. How about that?

5:23 Yeah, I'm on location. Guys, you want me to start since I'm on location reporting directly. Yeah, there you go. All right, we'll get we'll get into it today, and we're going to bring to Arkansas first, all right, and we're going to talk about a manhunt that was underway where sadly, there was a double murder at a state park. So Clinton David Brink, who is forty three, and Kristen Brink, who is forty one. They were hiking with their two daughters. Their two daughters were young nine and seven years old, at what's known as Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas. They were attacked Saturday afternoon with a knife with a knife mind you pretty personal there. The girls were not injured and they are safe with relatives now. Authorities were alerted about a double homicide in that park on Saturday at about two forty pm.

6:22 The couple's bodies were found on a walking trail. The area they were found in was described as very remote, very rural, had rugged terrain, It had a lot of thick vegetation in that area, and unfortunately there was no cell phone service in that area of the park. It has remained cordoned off ever since and secured by police. The conditions of the bodies, they didn't disclose that. The state crime lab, of course, will confirm the manner of death and the cause of death. Now. The killer has been described as a white male, medium bill wearing a long sleep shirt, sleeves rolled up, dark pants, dark ball cap and sunglasses. And you may say, damn, that's the best description. Yeah, they know all that. Well, actually, there's a picture of him. Somebody else that was hiking took a picture of like the scenery, and he's in the picture like Bigfoot. He's off in the distance, like he's faced. Well, they zoomed in on it looked like the person was right behind him. And he was looking out. That's the only bad thing. He wasn't facing the person that took the picture. Uh, but they did have, you know, a good description of everything he was wearing. Obviously, he was seen exiting the park in a black four door sedan, may have been a mas Do with a license plate covered by duct tape or electrical tape. The vehicle may be in a may have been traveling near the state

7:52 the state park on Highway one seventy. So if you're an Arkansas person, you know what that is. And that's a right there. That pre planning was huge with that. Yeah, premeditated. Yeah, absolutely, he just you. Know, he just screwed up his whole defense of temporary insanity, didn't yah done. You don't cover your freaking license plate when you don't intend on doing something like that. So authorities obviously asking anybody who took pictures of that park that day to review them see if they sing anything. The park's website said all the trails in the park are closed until further notice for obvious reasons. And the police did release a sketch and a picture of the suspect that I just talked about, and I'm going to put that on the Facebook page, So if you want to see that, you're more than welcome to check that out.

8:42 And uh, Kelly, Yeah, an update on this case just came through. Well, that was perfect through the crime wire. If you will tell me a suspect has been arrested in connection with that double homicide. Hell yeah. James Andrew McGann, twenty eight, a teacher from Sproul, Arkansas, was arrested last night and charged with two counts of capital murder in the killing of that forty three year old and forty one year old. Arkansas State Police just announced this. McGahn was arrested shortly before five pm local time while getting a haircut in school about thirty miles north of that park. The official seven. McGann had recently moved to the area from Oklahoma and had been hired to work at a local school and when at what was in janetor a teacher really was a teacher and asked about a motive. Investigators decline to comment, saying the case is still active and it would be premature to do so. And incidentally, I didn't mention this earlier, but the children in this case were not harmed, thank god.

10:02 The nine and seven year old were not killed, sadly the parents were, but it could have been, I guess, much worse. But thank god they have they have caught someone for this. Just look, I just I just looked up the picture too, since you said that this mugshot. Look y'all, you gotta put this look. I'm gonna shake through the screen. This dude looks scary. Seriously, he looks disheveled. Yeah, he's a teacher. I mean, he's a you know, perfect not You wouldn't pick you wouldn't picture a teacher to do something like this, Kelly, you were a teacher killed two people on the state park. Hell no. So obviously this guy was going through something that uh, I guess it's called.

But the good news I guess too, if you're looking at this from an investigative standpoint, was that even though he covered the license plate, that in and of itself makes him stand out. So if they're going to go to the interstates and and and look and see possible cameras, he's gonna's going to stick out like a sore thumb. He's the only guy with a with a covered license plate. So I'm assuming that probably was part of his downfall was that what he thought would would keep him. I would have changed a license plate. I would have imagined once he got out of the state park he pulled the tape off. You think I'd be curious to know because he Well, but if this was his first time kill, everyone always thinks these killers think that they're going to do this, slam him, thank you man, And it never goes quite like they expected to. In that rush, and that overwhelming of the kill people make mistakes like a coburger.

11:30 I mean, he dropped the whole damn sheath. Yeah. Well, and in this case, I'm sure he didn't plan on someone taking a picture of his whole backside. Uh huh. Somebody recognized that and probably turned him in. I would, I would imagine. And you're just doing something so so just wholesome. You're hiking with your kids, and out of nowhere, some assailant just decided decides to kill you, like. Precisely the reason I don't go anywhere without packing. Yeah, hiking, it don't matter when I look fifteen years ago, when I was going to Disney World my kids, I was packing because you could break down on the interstate. Yeah, and you have to walk to a das station. You think I'm going to do that without some sort of defense against an attack.

12:18 I'm telling you, but this is like where you would think, you know, you lower your guard. You're out in the middle of nature. You're just on a hike with your children. And the biggest I know, I'm just saying that, but in their minds, the biggest fear you have is that maybe a bear or something might come out. Of the That's right. I mean, you don't expect it the predator to be another human. And I know I don't know, but I feel in my soul that they fought. Those parents fought to make sure that their kids were okay. And I'd be curious to know what the kids did. Did they run and hide? Did they just run away? You know? How did this? And the kids are going to have a lot of answers, I think whenever they talked to these babies and find out. But Godly man, to be there when your parents are killed, is that's a lot goodness gracious.

13:03 Well, let's go now to Florida, where I am on location reporting directly to you the listeners, where four adults are accused of holding nine children captive inside their Florida home, locking them in cages, and spraying them with vinegar as punishment. Husband and wife Brian and Jill Griffith, as well as twenty one year old Dallen and nineteen year old Liberty Griffith, were arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse in Columbia County, Florida. The four adults are accused of locking the children inside cages in their bedrooms, giving them non prescribed medication, and not providing them adequate schooling, all while instructing them to lie about what happens in their home. The children were also forced to lie on the floor by their mother, Jill, and having her place a sheet of plywood on top of the child's body and pressing down on them, which resulted in splinters and pain.

13:53 When punishing the children. Five of whom are the biological children of the couple, but four were adopted, the adults would spray them in the face with a vinegar. An investigation into the child of use happening to the nine children, aged between seven and sixteen, stemmed from concerns from a mandatory reporter at their local church. And this is so important to be that these mandatory reporters we listened to, and this case is so such a great example of why, because in the days before their arrests, one of the children was caught at the church camp with a functioning electric stun gun. Additional concerns were raised about the adopted children being treated unfairly compared to the Griffith biological children. In addition to this, the children, some of them, did not know their full name or their own birthdays. According to the Sheriff's office.

14:43 When authorities went to the home, they saw the adoptive children working on chores while the biological children were playing and watching television. Authorities then discovered the couple shared a tenth foster child who was not present, but with their biological parent in Arizona. A well being check concluded that the that child was safe and healthy. When authorities began investigating, the adopted children made additional accusations against the adults, including that they were being beaten by a cane and locked in their bedrooms by Brian and other adults. All nine of the children have been court ordered to be removed from the home, and all four were arrested and are being held in the Columbia County Detention Facility on five hundred thousand dollars bond.

You can actually get a corningal injury from being sprayed in the eyes with vinegar. I'm sure the acidity is of things. Like hell according to chat GBT, yes, and it also causes some pretty major blurred vision. It's no joke. And when you're a child, it can roll affect you in heart. It's like having razor blades in your eyes. Yeah. Well, and anybody's curious, go spray yourself in the eyes of vinegar.

But so you think about the fact that they had the custody of a total of ten children, and I know that I always go negative with my thinking. That's just kind of how I'm wired here. But I'm wondering if this was a cash grab by the state because they had their own kids, and they realized, once we bring all these kids into our household, and we're gonna start getting you know, assistance for these foster kids or start getting funding, And I'm yeah, and then you're gonna take these these kids that aren't yours, that you're being trusted with to be the cared sound advice for them while their families are going through whatever, you know, loss of custody, and then you treat them this way.

16:56 How crazy The one of the children the only one that's not in the whole and visiting their family, their actual family is safe and accounted for and healthy. Yeah, And I think it's you nailed right on the head. I think it's obviously a cash grad because they weren't doing this out of the goodness of their heart. They they were torturing these kids, you know. They that's about as fucking low as you can go. Yes, So they were torturing them. The only reason they had these kids was for the fact that you get paid the foster children, which, when your heart's in the right place, you should. You're taking on your financial responsibility and you want to encourage good people to do something like that. But I think in this case, it's just a parent. They didn't give a shit about these kids. They wanted that money.

This is like almost like you know, well, I don't even know if I should say this, but you know, when they did the testing on the kids and Auschwitz and all of that, and just to see what would happen to them, you're just like force feeding these kids medicine that's not theirs and then locking them up and pressing them under it. It's like old school medieval torture and when you would press people under rocks or plywood like this is. This is more than just not letting the kids have their freedom, you know. Like maybe they wouldn't let them go out and about and didn't feel like taking. Them to school, like they weren't even teaching them anything.

My own family didn't have me and then I'm given to people who supposed to take care of me. They don't take care of me. Yeah, yeah, well we're going to go to slide l and a slide ol woman was arrested and booked into the East Battery s Parish prison after she allegedly bought a Lamborghini and plastic surgery while receiving fraudulent medicaid benefits.

Don't cut that out, don't you do it? Attorney General Les Murrill's office said this on Tuesday. Candace Taylor, thirty five, is accused of underreporting her income to receive medicaid benefits. The AG's office said Taylor was denied medicaid in May of twenty nineteen after she applied under the alias Candace sailor and reported her income as nineteen hundred dollars bi weekly with no dependence. She then reapplied and was approved in March of twenty twenty under the same misnomer, claiming no income. This time she was also inconsi in the years in which she claimed dependence. Quote. You don't often see this level of abuse in the system. Someone who would lie over and over again about her eligibility and then go out and buy a Lamborghini in plastic surgery, that's pretty fragrant, flagrant fraud, ag Lyz Muriel said. According to the AG's office, arrest documents reported that Taylor made over nine point five million dollars in multiple businesses between January of twenty twenty in December of twenty twenty four.

20:35 The AG office said in that timeframe that Taylor recorded multiple deposits over four hundred and maybe thousand dollars into her bank account, made more than forty five thousand dollars in vehicle payments to OUDI Finance, made multiple six figure with draws via cashier's check to fund property purchases, bought plastic surgery, hyattey and luxury services, and bought a twenty twenty two Lamborghini Your Rice for more than one hundred and thirteen thousand dollars. Taylor allegedly tried to renew her tried to renew those Medicaid benefits in twenty twenty four, just two months after buying the Lamborghini and claiming a monthly income of only two thousand dollars on her application.

We spend a lot of money on these programs, and they're supposed to be helping people who cannot afford medical care on their own. This is someone who was clearly making a lot of money and could afford to obtain insurance. Agents reportedly saw multiple and this is where they're getting them these days. I love this. Multiple social media posts of Taylor showing off her luxurious lifestyle, including that lamp bow. AG Muriel said, I know you cannot buy a Lambeau in plastic surgery while we're steven Medicaid benefit. At an investigation, the AG's office arrested Taylor and slide Down on Monday booked her into the ebr Parish Prison, which is no fun.

Florida again on location and I am but a sixty nine year old Florida man allegedly murdered his wife's lover after an argument and a flea market parking lot led to a fatal shooting. Omar Renee Aguilla or Aguala, stands accused of second degree murder in the shooting that occurred on July twelfth at the North Side Shopping Center in Miami. Aguiala's wife and the victim started having an affair in twenty nineteen. He learned of the romance in April of twenty twenty four and urged her to end the affair, But two days before the shooting, the victim reportedly showed up to Aguila's and his wife's home. The victim and the suspect had a confrontation when that happened. On the day of the shooting, Aguila was with his wife and his son at a flea market when the victim dropped off food to a friend. The victim tried to talk to Aguila's wife before leaving, and according to the complaint, Aguila went to the victim's car, where the two started arguing.

27:55 Within seconds, Aguala reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the man several times, and surveillance video captured the. Entire shooting as it went down. Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Initially, though, cops let Agala go following the shooting because he claimed self defense and said that the victim had a gun in his car, but detectives allegedly determined the victim was never armed afterwards, so Agala also is a convicted felon and is prohibited from having a gun, so in addition to murder, he's also facing a felon in possession of a firearm charge. Agala was arrested and remains at the Turner Guildford Knight Correctional Center without bond. Man He's sixty nine year olds be wild and all right, So I look it used to be when when you're sixty nine years old, I mean, sex is the last thing you're having, right yeah. And now with the I guess, with the biagra and the costerone and the TRT replacements, he's sixty nine year olds are getting it. I don't know how old how old his wife was, but if she was near his age, she got a six year fair going on with some duty name freaking.

29:05 All right, So in Florida, let me ask you this real quick. Then the victim, and I'm not saying you deserve to be murdered. I'm not saying that no one deserves it, right. That's right. I'm not making fun of that. No, absolutely not. But I kind of almost feel like the husband might have a little bit of a gripe here that I might would go, well. I mean, the guy showed up to Not saying justified a shooting. I'm saying like it was flagrant and in his face, and maybe the heat of the moment got to him that day, because this guy went to his home just a few days went to his house straight up having an affair with his wife, and went to his house. I mean, you better not play around with people. Don't kill a guy. I know, I know totally, but.

Then they show up at this flea market, and then the victim goes up and tries to talk to his wife after they've already had a kind of confrontation about this.

But possibly I mean, I don't. I think they did charge him with second agree murder. Well yeah, but I'm saying it fits here because I mean, this guy was a little did have some culpability I think in the in the argument and what kind of was going down here. But we'll see. And personally, I think that if you're a good defense attorney, you're gonna argue for manslaughter on this because it's going to be a heat of the moment thing. Yeah, I didn't intend to kill him. He set me off and I was temporarily insane. I did. There's no proof of planning here. He didn't hunt him down.

So floridaman is behind bars after police says he tied up his friend, held him at home, and robbed his bank account. In a Facebook post, the Lee County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Nicholas Flores, who was thirty two, charged him with robbery, kidnapping, possession of a controlled substance as well. According to police, Flores met with a friend of his to discuss the latterman buying a PlayStation five. The friend, who was not named by police, went to Flora's home, and while he was there, Flores allegedly retrieved a machete. The friend was finally able to escape the following morning while Flores was asleep.

Get a grip in New Orleans and inmate now was mistakenly released last week from the same New Orleans jail that was the scene of that brazen breakout that was in May. Officials at an Orleans Parish Correctional facility said they accidentally released thirty year old Khalil O'Bryan, who is being held on a warrant for aggravated assault with the firearm, domestic abuse, child endangerment, and home invasion. He also has a criminal history that includes burglary, assault, and drug violations.
