I'm back for another episode of Unspeakable, and we're gonna do part two of Intent to Kill, which is that Tristan Bailey episode that I started for you last time. 3:09 Either way, I'm super stoked to have you and thank y'all so much for your support. So we're going to jump right in to the Tristan Bailey episode here, and when were I left off Last time? We were talking about the fact that Aidan Fucci was being questioned because he was known to be last with Tristan, and as I kind of ended it, we were talking about some snapchats that were going back and forth, and some of his some kids their age, were kind of calling him out, saying, dude, bro, not cool. You know, why are you in the back of a cop car asking about where Tristan is And we all know good and well that you were with her last that that's not cool at all. So I wanted to go back some and mention that. You know, they started making these accusations that Tristan was hanging out with this drug dealer that you know, may have taken her and done something with her. And so this lead was investigated the police and just poopoo it because she was thirteen years old. They said, okay, well, if this is real, then let's go. Let's go down that avenue and two detectives, Detective Nieman and Sergeant Smith did go to an address at Fruit Cove Road an attempt to identify that guy. His name was Carlo, if you remember, and they made contact with a Marco Lindo, who said, well, yeah, Carlo's real, that's my brother.

4:20 And Marco told them that Carlo was not at his residence, but Marco called him and they recorded the phone conversation that they had. Now Carlo said that he had been staying at his father's residence because his truck had been had broken down, and investigative resources showed that Carlo's vehicle was last in that Saint John's County on May first, and you know, the further they reached they researched this, there was there was no way this dude was even in the area whenever Tristan went missing, and so it kind of went, you know, down the drain there there was nothing much there uh to research further. So another avenue that was being looked at though, was there was an audio recorded interview with a female named Katerina Cox, and they interviewed her via phone and Katerina was saying that, look, there was a guy named Trey who was encouraging a female named Lola to sneak out of her house the night of May eighth, and if you remember, that's exactly what Tristan did. She snuck out and she went to go see Aiden, and they did see Trey that night before she went missing. And then Katerina said, well, Lola said that she wasn't able to go out, but that Trey kid also contacted Tristan to encourage her to sneak out that same night. So this should show you or does to me, that there's a pattern of behavior here that they are trying to lure someone out. And you notice it's females, it's not males. So that kind of you know, piqued my attention. Now,

5:57 they did go and talk to some of the class of Aiden and Tristan, and one little female classmate told the detectives that, you know, she was asked if she could sneak out that night. It was the same night that Tristan disappeared, and those boys wanted her to sneak out. And when the girl told, you know, Fuci that she couldn't sneak out, he actually responded by calling her a bunch of derogatory names and attacking her, you know, verbally because she couldn't leave that night. And you know, kind of poignant, she said, and this is a quote, it could have been me. And I think that that's role powerful because it's true, this could have been anybody. Tristan was not some high risk kid, you know that was out being just a horrific kid. She was doing silly things that kids do when they're growing up. But this could have been anybody, you know, and that's what makes it scary. So this is kind of sad, right, But they do find a body about this time. And the way it all went down was that the Sheriff's office received a call from Daniel Hart who said that he located what seemed to be a deceased female in a wooded area on a cul de sac on saddle Stone Drive. Now east of that cul de sac was a retention pond on the property next to that Durban Creek nursery, which is where Aiden had said that they were kind of walking around that night. So patrol units responded there and they did find a deceased female

7:29 who they would identify as Tristan Bailey. So Tristan was located in a wooded area and it was about eighty feet from that retention pond, and that retention pond would come into play later. And so when they found her, she was laying on her right side with her head pointed to the east and her feet pointed to the west. Her right knee was slightly bent at the knee and her left leg was bent at a ninety degree angle at the knee. Her right arm was extended with a slight bend at the elbow, and her left arm was bent at the elbow with her hand touching her chin. I don't know why, but when it says her little hand touches her chin, it hurt my heart. Like you can just kind of see her just, you know, laying there, defenseless. She was wearing a black Victoria's Secret shirt with the word Pink on the front, and black Nike brand sweatpants and black and white slip on a Van brand shoes. Her hair was matted and red in color, which it was full of blood. Tristan had multiple sharp forced injury wounds on her hands, arms, neck, and appeared to have additional sharp forced trauma injuries on her back, and that they could tell by the holes that were in her body and the holes that were in her shirt.

8:50 She was covered in stab wounds. You know. I remember I followed the Jodi Arius very closely, if you're familiar with that case, and she stabbed her boyfriend twenty seven times. And I remember being just flappercasted that you would be able to just attack and slaughter someone and stab them twenty seven times. Y'all, this girl was stabbed one hundred and fourteen times. One hundred and fourteen times. I mean, just an all out just assault that she could not even I mean, how would you even begin to recover from that, you know, if you were even able to. They also found in that immediate vicinity a gold tone ring and a cell phone that would be later identified as Tristan's cell phone. There was also a twenty dollar bill and a pink vape nearby. They looked around the area and they found a shoe impression near the wooded area and a power aid bottle near the pond. They weren't really sure if that would play a role in this, but other than those few things, nothing else was found at this scene. So Aiden is again interviewed and it was both audio and video recorded, and Aiden's father, Jason and mother Crystal Smith were present in the room with Aiden, and while they were inside that interview room, Jason and Crystal both made several comments telling Aiden

10:24 not to speak about any possible involvement that he may have had, and they made sure to let Aiden know, Hey, buddy, you're being recorded too, Okay, I get that, right. You don't want to do anything that might be, you know, self incriminating, or you might not want to say something that might not look good, right, And he's young, right, he's he's a kid, right. Well, as soon as they tell him not to say anything, then they both start asking him questions about the incident in the room that's being recorded that they just said, don't say anything, and you know, he kind of mumbles a few answers here and there, and there's some video clips of how he's answered, y'all. It's super nonchalant. It's not like he doesn't look nervous, he doesn't look upset.

11:09 He looks like a little punk ass kid who's being questioned by parents that don't want the answers they're going to receive anyway. They know their kid, give me a break. And he just kind of like, no, no, no, oh no, that's kind of like what the feedback he gives. So at that point they both say, all right, well, let's just not talk until you an attorney arrives. And then Crystal advised Aiden that the girl she refers to Tristan as the girl, was found in their neighborhood down Main Street, and Aiden responds, is she good? And Crystal says, no, she's dead. That's why this is very important. It's all on you right now, and Aiden responded, are you ready? Are you ready? How he responded, this is a direct quote, how is it my problem? Wow? How is it your problem? Because you were the last one with her admittedly you were the last one with her son. Like how are you even just poo poo this away like like nothing? And that's when Crystel and Jason both are like, you were last seen with her son?

12:13 What do you mean? How is this? How is this your problem? And I kind of watched the body language of Tristan's parents, and you know, I'm no psychologist, I'm no body language expert, but I still pay attention. And you know, Aidan's mom in the video kind of almost takes up a defensive position. She crosses her arms, she kind of doesn't move much, and you can see, you can almost see it in her body language. She knows he's involved in this, just the way that she's interacting with him. It's not from you know, if I thought my child was being wrongly accused of doing something, I feel like I would be wrapping my arms around the child and trying to console the child and say, and we're going to get through this, and you just tell the truth and the whole truth. I don't know that I would be saying, don't tell anything, be quiet, you know what I'm saying, and then like my arms crossed like this in front of my body. I don't know, it just seemed a little hardened. His dad had a baseball cap on on the video I was watching, and he kept like taking the hat off and like scratching his head like almost like, oh man, we're in deep. It's like they knew. They knew that they were in deep. I don't know that they knew how deep, but they knew that this was going to be bad and that their son was a jackass. So Jason asks Aidan, do you understand that this is a very serious situation, and Aidan says, yeah, I get it. It's serious. And then Crystal and Jason, the parents, both tell Aiden that the snapchat he decided to post in the back of the police car wasn't a smart idea because he's in the back of a police car with a dead girl next to a pond, throwing up like you know,

13:48 peace signs and what's up and saying anyone seeing Tristan lately? Like what a little punk ass bitch. I'm sorry, no couth whatsoever. And then they follow up with because we've been getting death threats because of it. It wasn't even about like I don't know, it's like they just skipped over this whole dead girl laying by a pond. It's because you know, it doesn't look good on you, and we're getting threats because of it. Like what the hell there's a dead girl. There's a dead girl, Like how how are we not a little more deep in this conversation about what's happening here, Like I don't know, they're they're just whole behavior. And again I'm not in their position, but their behavior was just like not what I would have expected at all. So then Jason asked him, hey, do you have any scrapes on you or anything? And Aidan says, no, sir, he has respect. Then no, sir. And then Jason says, did you tell the police anything different, which you know me and mom don't know about, and he said, nope, I didn't say anything different to the police. And Aidan then said that he told the police Tristan probably got picked up by her drug dealer. And then he said, well, Tristan was not going to go home and was going to find somebody to stay with.

15:03 That's pretty much all that he knew. But how would he know that, because the last thing he had said was she tried to grab my junk and I pushed her down. And then when you're asked, okay, what happened next, he's too high to know. If you remember that from last episode, it was all a little bit cloudy. But now when his parents are asking him, he knows exactly what was going to happen. I guess Triston got up and then fell on a knife one hundred and fourteen times. I'm not sure. I'm not sure how that happened. But she was then going to leave, and I guess and just go to her friend's house. So Detective Thompson, one of the detectives, he then said, look, we need to get a DNA test. We want to make sure that there's nothing under the nails and there's nothing on his body. And then Cristel told the detectives, we're gonna go home and collect the clothes that Aiden was wearing, and so Jason says, so there's gonna be nothing on those clothes, right, and Aiden says, no, sir. So Cristel then says, okay, well, you were wearing khakis or blue jeans, and Aiden says, I had on blue jeans, and then Crystel asks again, are you sure there was nothing on him? And Aiden says I don't think so why and Crystel then gives Aiden a questioning look. She states, when we were looking on the cameras, you were wearing khakis. Shortly after, she asks him, right, and then Aiden says, oh, yeah, yeah. So mom's like trying to get him to change his story right there, right because I'm telling you, she knew, she knew her son, and she knew

16:34 that he was involved in this. And it was like Krystell was trying to convince Aiden he was wearing khakis instead of blue jeans blue jeans, even though he had been saying over and over and over again, I had on blue jeans. She's trying to convince him to say otherwise. So then she brings up the drug dealer again, and Aiden says he had never seen the drug dealer, he just had heard about him. And Jason the Dad says, okay, well, there's a room her that y'all y'all were getting into a black car to get drugs, and he said, no, I didn't do that, and then Jason says, okay, Aiden, did you kiss Tristan last night? Because even Dad felt like there might be a sexual component to this, and Aiden advised he did kiss Tristan along the walk funny. Then they got it weird because last I heard, he was pushing her down because of this sexual advancement she made, So why are you kissing her? Then?

17:33 If you don't want any type of sexual you know something going on there. So Crystal says she didn't see why Aiden kissed Tristan and then grabbed Aiden and then Aiden pushed her. So Mom even just like, wait minute, I'm calling bullshit there. Why would she kiss you and then grab you? And then you're mad about it? I don't I don't get it. And then both parents are like, look, you need to you need to get your story, and then you need to stick with it whatever it is. Just stick with it with whatever the story is, and they then tell him, look, there's going to be an autopsy and everything is going to be explained in this autopsy of this girl, so you know. Mom then goes, well, Aiden, why did it Why did it take you so long to get home after y'all separated ways, and that's when Aiden said, you know that he walked around and he was by himself, looking slowly at the stars. He's a starcaser, So she brings it up again. Looks on the room is recorded, do not say anything, and then both of them make a few comments about Aiden not coming home that evening because detective said that he was not going to be leaving that night. So Jason began typing something into his text application right on his phone, and then him and Aiden start passing a phone back and forth rather than speaking. And obviously this was to try to get around any investigation, you know, that might be going on.

18:56 While they're listening to them talk, and Mom says, were you high last night? Aiden states, direct quote, no, I was not. That's not what he told detectives, right. He was too high to remember much. He said he smoked CBD, but not THHC. And he says, oh, the THHC gets me high, but the CBD does not. And then Crystal said, I'm just trying to think if you did something stupid, maybe something made you do it so that would justify it. So Mom's already trying to get him off the hook here and again we're talking about a girl that has been murdered. We're not talking about a kid skipping school or you know, beating somebody up. I mean you murdered her. On May tenth, they did execute a search warrant to be able to collect evidence from the person of Aiden, so not necessarily the home, but like his person, his body. And during that search warrant, they did get DNA swabs, they got case prints, They even did a penile swab to make sure, hey, if you had sex with her, her d they might be on him. They did fingernail scrapings, they took his clothing, and they took a bunch of photographs of him. And they did the same for that friend Tray at the same time. Now here's where things get even weirder, or not weirder, I guess more. Oh what more could you expect from this family? But they do a search warrant of Fuci's home. They continued to search and they could not find the knife. The knife was missing, but just the sheath was there. They found one pair of wet Nike brand

20:27 high top athletic shoes with possible blood on them, and they were between a dresser and a wall in Aiden's room. And when they tested those that blood. It was positive for the presence of blood on that presumptive test. They also found a white short sleeved t shirt with blood on it or possible blood on it under the dresser in Aiden's room and when they tested it again positive result for blood. They found a piece of paper with handwriting and possible blood on it, and that was inside his close floor. After the dresser was removed. One pair of wet denim blue jeans located inside the laundry basket along the wall in Aiden's room. And so since the jeans were wet, they went and they tested the drain in the bathroom or maybe not because the jeans were wet, but you know, his bathroom. They went and tested the sink adjacent to his bedroom, and because it looked like there was dirt residue near the drain, and the drain was tested for blood and guess what, another positive result in the sink. So the drain trap with the water in the drain was removed for further testing. Now what's really interesting about this is that mom continues to try to help her son, but not help her son as in, we need to get to the bottom of this, We need to get to the truth. This is more of let me help him by being just as deviant as he is, because this is kind of funny to me. They had cameras all over their house. They had cameras in their

22:02 house. Those cameras were rolling. Those cameras caught Aiden whenever he came home that he was carrying his shoes and when he was asked, why were you carrying your shoes instead of wearing and he said, my feet hurt. They hurt my feet. And then inside the house you could see there's like a playroom with toys everywhere, and then you could see a bathroom and it's a perfect shot of that bathroom. So they get the video of inside the home, and this is what ends up happening. You can see Crystal put the dog away in the master bedroom, and then she went directly to the bathroom where she's picking up things off the floor, and then she walks in Aiden's bedroom. She immediately then exits Aiden's bedroom holding a pair of blue jeans and went back to the adjacent bathroom. And remember he said he was wearing blue jeans. Then Mom said, I think you were wearing khakis. Don't you remember you were wearing khakis? And that's when he changed his story. Oh yeah, I was wearing khakis. You can watch Crystal video scrubbing the jeans in that bathroom sync. What an odd thing to do, right, to go in your son's bedroom and grab one piece of clothing. Why wouldn't you just go do a load of laundry. Why would you go spot clean one pair of blue jeans? Now, Aiden's brother appears in the video watching her clean the jeans, and then shortly after she exits the bathroom, steps briefly back into Aiden's bedroom and then takes the jeans downstairs to the master bedroom.

23:27 Crystal is then seen wiping something off the floor at the foot of the stairs with her feet. So I hope you can kind of see this, right, She's going in, she's picking up a few things, then going and check in the house to see what she could clean up or wipe up. Then another woman shows up, and she's going to be identified as a Victoria, and she's in the video and they're friends. Crystal and Victoria are friends, and they seem to be having a discussion in the video about something. And when you're watching Crystal, her demeanor is kind of like you can tell she's upset and something's got her up set, and she's on her phone, and she's using her phone, you know, to call people and text people frequently during the time that she's in the video. And then she goes back to the room and retrieves those genes, and then she and her friend Victoria seemed to be talking about the blue jeans and they can be they're like clearly like inspecting these genes together. And then Crystal returned the jeans to the master bedroom exited, and then they have a further conversation. Crystal appears to again be upset throughout the entire conversation. Then the husband's walk in and Crystal goes with the husband to the master bedroom, and then shortly after they left, they left the residence, and then Crystal took the jeans and returned them back to Aiden's bedroom. So there's something about those genes, right, Well,

24:59 I'm going to shorten it up. I have way more that I could go like textbook step by step would happened, But basically it's exactly what it sounds like. She was like, oh shit, my son might have blood on his jeans. Instead of turning that over to you know, exonerate him from from guilt. She takes some spot, cleans them, shows them to her friend her friends like, holy shit, there's blood on the jeans. She cleans them some more and then goes and puts them back in the bedroom and then Lati da, there's what jeans? Where the investigators come back during the warrant and find them? You know, Like, what a dumbass. I'm not even a criminal, but it seems smarter to me to remove the jeans altogether from the home. Burn them, bitches, go throw them somewhere out, you know what I'm saying, Like, why would you? Like damn, Like, come on, Jimothy, you're in here, say something.

25:44 What are you What would you do with the blue jeans? Burn them? I don't know, because then we might have some burn residue where we burned. Yeah, like be gone. I am not even that confident in getting stains out of clothes, so I don't know that I'd be scrubbing. I'm like, hey, O, I'd be getting rid of the laundry, not cleaning the laundry. Anyway. That's another story. But what this showed me was that there was a complete, total and utter lack of regard for Tristan. This mom didn't want the truth. She didn't want anyone else to know the truth. It didn't matter basically that if there's blood on her son's clothes that he went out and he just slaughtered this little girl. This mother was like, no, we're just gonna wash it away. To help with that little girl. Let me try to preserve this little asshole kid that this little crotch goblin that I gave birth to. Let me, let me preserve him.

26:41 So let's go back real quick her to Tristan's autopsy, because I felt like this was a bit important about what this little girl went through. And the post mortem examination was done by a doctor for drag Bulick. And I'm sorry if I mispronounced that name. It's a it's a different name I'm not familiar with. But he was the chief medical examiner and these were his direct observations from his report. Tristan was wearing a black Victoria's Secret shirt with the word Pink across the front. Numerous defects in the front of the shirt were consistent with sharp forced trauma injuries on Tristan's back, and there were no injuries on Tristan's chest. Let me say that again. There were numerous defects in the front of the shirt that were consisted with sharp forced trauma injuries on Tristan's back, and there were no injuries on Tristan's chest. So it's kind of confusing, like why would the shirt why would there be no injuries on the chest, But the front of the shirt have holes, and I know that's what you're thinking. What the doctor determined was that, Look, you know the shirt was actually worn backwards. That's why. And so you know you could go round and around, Well, why would your shirt be on backwards?

27:48 Okay, One, maybe the shirt came off and then quickly was thrown back on because maybe headlights went by or something. Maybe they were fooling around owned and then she quickly threw her shirt back. One. I don't know that. Okay, that's just assumptions, And you know, assumptions are like, you know, assholes. Everybody's got one. But another one could be you know, I do own a shirt that I wear backwards. I know that sounds stupid, but I do. It's a real flowey shirt and it's longer in the front than it is in the back, and something about the way I wear it. When I wear it backwards, I get so many compliments on it because the way it cuts on me. I don't know if that's the case here. I mean, she's wearing a Victoria's Secret pink shirt and then the pink, you know, would be on the opposite side of it, and I don't I don't know. I really don't have an explanation for that. You can kind of chalk that up to whatever you think it is. But she did have her shirt on backwards, and according to the detective, that was consistent with information previously obtained by the deputy Stack from the friend Trey. Remember Trey, because Trey had said that when they had, you know, last when he had last seen them, when they came to his house, Tristan had on a black and gray shirt with the word pink across the front. But but the shirt's on backwards now, so it's just kind of a strange dynamic. And here's another kicker. Tristan's brawl was inside out. So I don't want to get I don't want to get too deep

29:19 in braw talk here, but if it was a wire brawl, that almost feels like he redressed her. You know what, I'm saying, like, but, but, but, but the stab wounds don't necessarily indicate that. So, but why would your brawl be on inside out? Maybe she had on a sports brawl. I'm not sure that has happened before. I mean, girls come on like when you were young, and you you know, it's just like a fabric sports brawl. He could be inside out without you realizing. I guess maybe I don't know, baby, she liked to wear a freaking clothes inside out. I'm not sure, but she was wearing her Nike brand sweatpants and she had on the van's shoes. Now it says she was coming out of riga mortis and appeared to have her skin slipping. Okay, and I'm not trying to be gross or anything, but you know, there's different levels. There's rigga mortis, alga morris um, and it kind of levels out there. So she was coming out of rigor mortis, which I means she was stiff, and then she was loosening back up. And skin slippage happens whenever you've been dead, awhile, and it kind of this is not the scientific term for it, but she kind of the skin loses its um elasticity maybe I guess would be a good word, but anyway, the skin just starts to pull off the body rather easily, so slippage of the skin. She appeared to have handprints on her upper left, inner and outer thigh, interesting her inner left calf and her inner right calf, and

30:55 her upper right thigh. The handprint on Triton's upper left thigh appeared consistent with a right hand, and based on the pattern of the handprint, it was determined it would not have been her own hand. The crime scene technician detected possible ridge detail in the handprint and used chemical agents to attempt to further develop that ridge detail, and the handprints were later examined by a latent print examiner, who determined the ridge detail was not developed enough. She was found. Tristan was found to have a total of one hundred and fourteen stab or cutting wounds concentrated to the top of her head, back of her neck, the back of both of her arms and hands, and her back. And that should tell you this. This little punk ass bitch didn't even face her when he started this attack. He attacked her from behind like a coward, but also like a predator. Right you see that lion or that you know animal creeping up on its prey, waiting for the exact moment that it's got a weakness, right, it dips down to take a drink of water or maybe take a swig of a power aide, and then boom, goes in for the attack. Some of the injuries to her hands were penetrating, which indicated at the time of those injuries, her hands were on a hard object, most likely her head. So can't you see it. She starts getting attacked, she throws her hands up to protect her head, and he just stabbs straight through her hands into her head. This is an assault, an all

32:30 out war being imposed on her. Based on the nature of the injuries, it appeared the suspect was standing behind Tristan and came downward at an angle right, you know, just like every scary movie you've ever seen. The doctor found three stab wounds which penetrated her left chest cavity and punctured her left lung three times. So her lung starts filling with blood and she's going to be drowning in her blood, if you want me to be quite frank with you. Additionally, the doctor found one stab wound which punctured her right chest cavity and her right long wanstor. The doctor estimated the cutting instrument to be a single edged blade approximately four inches. X rays of Tristan's body indicated a possible metallic fragment on the top of Tristan's skull, which was not initially recovered during autopsy. He stabbed her so hard the tip of the knife broke off in her head, and then the doctor confidently stated that Tristan's cause and manner of death would be listed as a homicide due to sharp forced trauma. I mean, he just attacked this little girl mercilessly in her chest, and her lungs are punctured. She can't breathe. She's starting to drown right. All she can do is throw her hands up to try to protect her head. But what you going to do when evil is just just everywhere around you? Now,

34:07 during the time that all of this is happening, remember that retention pond I told you about. They put divers in that pond and they said, let's go search that pond. And there was a deputy Todd de Lisa, who while searching the water, found a knife in the pond, and he did the typical underwater evidence collection protocols, and what he recovered was a Buck brand folding knife with a wood and brass handle. She was kind of upset about it and also had, according to Shila, mentioned something about running away and wanted to know if she could stay at Shila's house, but Shila's parents would not allow it. She goes on to say, okay, well what about this trade? They asked, what about this trade kid or dauphus, whatever you want to refer to him as. And she says, well, Tristan and Trey didn't talk to each other much during school and they were in different grades. But she knew that.

Shila also said that Tristan told her she was going to go hang out with Aiden on Friday, but she didn't want Shila to come with them because she had a bad feeling about it. So I don't you know. I don't know what that meant, but apparently Tristan kna was I

So look, you see a little girl who are trying to come into her own you know, she's vaping, she's doing you know, stupid things, putting griff Beatie on signs. But I don't see an evil child. Here, I see a kid that's getting a little bit mischievous and doing dumb things.

And she also said that he always carried a knife with him whenever he was out of school, and so she said, actually he always carries two knives. One is a gray and black folding knife with like an orange skull on the handle, and it does have a serrated blade, which Aiden called picker. He named it okay. The second knife was a folding knife with a wooden and brass handle, and he named that one poker. Now, I'm not going to go into a deep thing here. But do you know, it's very interesting that he named his knives picker and poker, because there is psychology behind when you name of a weapon of violence and and with you know, I'm not an expert obviously on this, but i do research things, and you know it's believed throughout history, right, people have named their weapons, their swords and their you know, bombs when they're dropped and things of that nature. But when you name something, the psychology behind that is that it now becomes next level extension of you.

So there's there's a lot to be said about what people name, you know, their animals or things that they think a lot of. He named his knives picker and poker. Zophie also then said that Aiden loved to talk about killing people. He talked about it all the time and even told her that he wanted to kill someone. And he told her that he had planned at some point that he wanted to kill somebody with this knife.

If your lover wants to drag innocent people into the woods, stab them to death, and then play innocent to kill others, dump him or her equal opportunity dump them all. So he then said, Aidan was gonna, you know, he's gonna act innocent and then he was gonna run away and make people think he was dead, fake his death, and then continue killing people. So she then says, and by the way, I spoke to him and Trey on May ninth when they were both in the back of the patrol car. Remember those snap those snaps that that were kind of important. She said she didn't know why Aiden and Tristan were together the

So then she says, Aiden tells her that they left office's house or Trey together and went separate ways. So he completely changes the story there. And then he says, look, I think I'm going to be arrested. The deputy was reading him his rights and then Aiden said he was going to plead the fifth right. So apparently he knows his rights now and he had told her about this pond where they would go smoke weed, but he had never taken Zophie there. And she then, according to the detectives who were questioning her, when they asked about this pond she had never been to, she literally described where Tristan's body was found. So that's not by chance, right, that that would happen. Trey then says, no, you know, Aiden and Tristan left and then I went to sleep because he wasn't supposed to have the friends over because he was being punished because he got suspended from school. And when further questioned, Zophie tells, you know, the police look, Aiden likes to hide things behind the dresser in his closet if he doesn't want his parents to find him find them, and that's where they did find some of that evidence, if you remember. So it doesn't seem like what she's saying is a lie. You know, they had to pull that dresser out of his closet. They found drawings, They found all sorts of things. Now, something else that was kind of creeper level one

She then said that Aiden knew something was wrong with him and wanted to reach out for help. He didn't want to reach out enough, because he definitely planned to kill someone when he wasn't angry. He definitely brought a weapon. He definitely stabbed her one hundred and fourteen times, and he definitely left her laying there to die and drown on her own blood. And he definitely lied about it. Pre planned, sign sealed, delivered. So there is something wrong with him. He's evil, you know what I mean? And he surely wasn't asking for help. And then his jackass parents weren't much help either. Now, if you wanted to try to say, oh, well, he's just a kid, and you know, maybe this is um you know, learned behavior, hey, you might have an argument there, because there was a thing I read that said his dad had, you know, some anger going on, and that he had even been arrested before for beating the hell out of somebody at a gas station with the kids in the car, and so, I don't know, I just don't think that we have the parents of the year here with this boy. And you know, it kind of went south real quickly, all right. So when they talked to Trey and they kind of get try to get Tray to give the rundown on

46:55 it, Trey really kind of spilled the beans here and says they were best friends, him and Aiden. They hung out all the time. And he says that Aiden, if he had to describe him, he would say he was a person who didn't care about anything and would seem to get mad about everything unless I said that backwards boom. He said, Aiden was a person who did not care about anything and wouldn't seem to get mad about anything unless someone really tried to make him mad. That's completely opposite of what the girlfriend said. It almost seems like he's trying to protect his friend a little bit. Last time they were together, that he and Tristan left the room so that Aiden and Zophie could talk, and he said that he later learned from Zophie that Aiden took a knife out and Zophie believed Aiden thought about stabbing her then, and so they kind of were having this discussion about why was he being so creepy like that. You know, Trey did describe his friend as a big pothead and explained that Aiden, you know, all he talked about was marijuana. That was all he was interested in, was basically marijuana, death and killing quote unquote all the time, he said. He specifically recounted, recalled a statement Aiden made while he and Aiden were hanging out with Tristan.

But he never also thought that Aiden was serious about it. So basically we got two friends here selling out their friends saying that, yeah, you know, he does have his weapons, and yeah he talked about stabbing people all the time. Maybe it's a total quinkie ink right that he was with this girl last seen and he her one hundred and fourteen times, right, Who knows. But look, I really didn't want to go three episodes on this one, but I feel like I kind of have to because there's so much more left in this um, in this case and this trial, So I don't, you know, I don't want to just cut out all those details. I want you to be able to get them. So, um, you know, these kids are basically young and there should be in the prime of their lives, you know, and this, you know, the rat race of life. You know, they should just be out playing and figuring themselves out. But instead, you know, we're playing we're playing a different game here, and they're running a different race, and it's it's a dangerous race. So the race Aiden's running is kind of like on your
