Pattern of Abuse Part 2: Wade Wilson

2:19 And then last but not least for today, from Mansura, Louisiana, Miss Nicole Priester. Hey, Nicole, how you dura tell everybody? I said, hey, and I am just thrilled to have you. Thank you so much. Now let's jump back in. This is going to be part two and this will be the final part of this Wade Wilson episode. And we know now that Wade admitted to killing people. Christine Melton was found dead in her apartment. She had been brutally beaten and was killed. And then Wade had gone to meet up with a friend and ended up absconding running into the woods behind the Mateo's graphics business after he made contact with that friend and was asking for money or a plane ticket or a bus ticket or some way to get out of town. So Christine's brother Robert eventually did fly back in and he made it into town and he had to go and check out her apartment, and so eventually he was cleared to do that, and when he made his way inside, he said that he was just sick to realize that the reality of crime scenes is that it's not like you walk into the apartment like you last saw it. You know. He walked in and there was still blood there. Her body had been removed, but the remnants of the horrors that she had suffered remained inside, and the scene was just surreal, you know. He struggled to grasp the finality of it all.

3:41 And I'm sure we can all put ourselves there, going, my god, how could this be true? How could this have happened to my sister? So Robert did what he could to clean up, and I'm sure he was hoping to erase the signs of his sister's death, but no amount of cleaning could undo that reality that Christine was gone forever. He was able to retrieve some of her important belongings, and then he headed off to his mothers to join their family in the grieving process. And he did remain there with his mother for two weeks to support her and to help make final decisions for his sister. And he was able to keep it together at first, but once he was alone, and I think a lot of us have experienced this, You're able to keep it together, but once it gets quiet and you're alone and you're back at your house, he fell apart. His beloved sister was gone and for no reason, just violently taken. So while Christine's life was abruptly ended and her family was left trying to make sense of everything that had happened.

4:41 Wade Wilson was still on the loose, So as law enforcement was speaking with Josh Lucage for the guy at Mateo's Graphics, Wade was making his way to Northeast First Avenue, and this was the home of Fanny Amlin, and she did not know Wade. There was no connection there. Matter of fact, Miss Fanny and her husband had just left for a trip to Ohio the day before, and they had no idea that a killer was a on the run and b breaking into their home. So why Way chose that home isn't clear, but I would guess that the fact it was unoccupied is the obvious reason why he chose that home. And he made his way into the back where he removed a screen from the window, and then he literally smashed through the window, destroying it as he does everything in his path. And then he crawled inside and immediately began rifling through all of the contents of their home. So he made his way into the master bedroom and he there searched through the clothing of Miss Amlin's husband. So he found a book sack, and he found some articles of clothing that suited him, and considering that he wasn't dressed, he was needing something to wear, and he settled on red shorts and khaki pants, and he also had an orange hat which was not mister Amlin's and no one has identified where it came from.

6:02 He then went back into the kitchen. I mean he was home alone, right, So he dug through the cabinets and he was hungry, so he got grabbed him some popcorn and he got thirsty, and that's when he settled for five white claws that he found in the fridge, chugging them, and then he threw the empty cans back into those bottom cabinets when he was done. And then as he sat there, Wade decided to call his bio dad, Steven. Now he answers the phone and he's telling him, look, I need to get out of town. I really need an uber now. I remember he had already called his biodad earlier in the day, but his dad was busy.

6:45 He said, you'll have to call me back. This was Wade's second call to him, and this time he says something to the effect of two people are gone that won't be back. I'm a killer, but Steven didn't quite believe him. He knew Wade to be a good storyteller and really thought that he was just making a drama and talking out of his head, as did most people that talk about Wade, saying that he liked to talk big talk, but no one really believed him. But by now, Leo's law enforcement officers were starting to connect the dots and trying to figure out where may he be and they had called the bio dad to try and locate him and to see have you spoken with Wade?

7:30 Now? In all realness? Okay, this is real life. This isn't This isn't you know, armchair quarterbacking in real life, in real time. Steven was conflicted on what to do. He really was. He was like, this is my son, you know, I love him. I don't know what should I do. He wants to get out of town. But when the third call comes, and this was around ten pm. When that third call homes, the tone shifts a little bit and Wade begins bragging about everything that he has done and he describes it in this very detailed description. And while Wade may be his son and he may love him, but the story that Wade begins telling is flat out unconscionable.

8:26 And Stephen knows that Wade is probably capable of some of the things that he is saying. Now, before I get into it, why you ask, okay, why would he think that he's capable of it? Well, let me give you a little bit of history on Wade, Okay that the average Joe may not know, but I did some research. So Wade was born in nineteen ninety four. I told you all that he grew up in Tallahassee. He was listed as a child's high school class of twenty twelve. All right, And Wade went to jail when he was seventeen years old, and his family moved to Tennessee. And admittedly, his adoptive family said that they were afraid of him, and they were so afraid of him. At seventeen years old, he became somewhat of a drifter. So in twenty fifteen, Wade was now twenty one years old, he was arrested on charges of kidnapping and sexual battery. Now this was because allegedly he had met a woman at a party and then he raped her in his vehicle. But Wade was adamant that he didn't do this. It did end up going to trial, and wouldn't you know, he was acquitted of the kidnapping and the rape. Fast forward a couple of years to twenty eighteen. Wade's now twenty four and he would now play a very important part in a huge Tennessee trial, and this would be the trial of Denise Williams. Now in a nutshell, Denise conspired with her boyfriend to kill her husband. Yes, someemroll match who

9:58 was cheating on her husband, and she conspired with her boyfriend at the time to kill her husband, and then they were going to fake a boating accident to cover it up. And supposedly Wade was now sharing a jail cell with the boyfriend and they were discussing what was going on and what they wanted to do, and supposedly Wade offered to kill Denise for the boyfriend. I guess let's shut everybody up now. Needless to say, Wade is drawn to bad people and really bad decision making. If we haven't seen the trend here, and I'm wondering y'all think I should cover that case. Because I'm willing to do it, I need y'all to give me some feedback. I'll ask you on Facebook, and y'all can tell me on Patreon if y'all want me to cover that case, I'll be glad to do it. But he's willing to kill somebody that he doesn't even know. Wow. Then in twenty nineteen, Wade's former girlfriend told police that he kidnapped and raped her. Are you seeing the trend? The thing was though, in this case that they were supposed to be under a no contact order, and since they were together at some point and in violation of that order, the police decided not to pursue the charges. He then was later also accused shortly thereafter of that event of stealing her cell phone and her laptop. Then in July, on July first of twenty nineteen, Wade Wilson was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff's office and charged with battery.

11:25 Now I'm not sure exactly which battery that was. I didn't make a note here, but he was charged with the battery. Then, in September of twenty nineteen, according to media reports, Wade pled guilty for pawning stolen property in that previous case, and he was given credit for time served and probation. Another media report I read said that in Lee County, another woman accused him of rape and kidnapping, but then she later decided not to seek the charges. So I guess that sound like a broken record here. But we have got to get it together and be tougher on what we I guess consider petty crime here, and we have to follow through when charges are brought against offenders. Ladies, if you are offended by someone, whether it's physical or sexual, follow through with it. You deserve it.

12:17 You deserve to have justice for what was done to you. And I don't care how much your gas lit into believing that they loved you and they made a mistake. No, follow through. That's the paper trail. Now. And by the way, that wasn't me fussing. That was me like supporting you behind you, stick with it, stay the course. There's plenty of people who support you and believe in you. Now though you see why his dad was starting to listen to what he was saying, he was also starting to believe, Oh my god, you know he is capable of this shit. And thus Steven decides to play ball with the detectives at this point, and he gets the address from Wade under the guys that okay, buddy, I'm going to send you the uber, but he immediately gives that address to the Marshall's office, who then tear off to go try to take Wade into custody. So what all was Wade saying that really made the biodad Steven go my god. Well, he continues to just brag about the deeds that he had done. Basically, when he and Christine were alone, he says that he went ballistic and he brutally beat and strangled her to death. And then he got even more specific. He said, I got on top of her and I choked her, referring to her as that bitch. I choked that bitch. I choked that bitch. After she died, he said he wrapped her up in the bedding, and he tied the bedding with her clothing and her swimsuit top, and that he tried to pull her out of the bedroom, but she was heavy, it was dead weight, and the sun was coming up,

13:49 and so he just decided to change his plan and he was like, screw it, I'll just leave her there. He stayed in the house a little bit, and then he had even more trouble when he decided Okay, I can't get her to the truck. And the problem he was having, he told his dad, was that riga mortis had set in. She got stiff and hard, which made it even more difficult. He couldn't lift her, and so he was like, fit, I'll just leave her here. He then takes her keys and her black Nissan Versa, and he then steals her iPhone. But the problem he was having was that he couldn't open her iPhone, so he then went back and uncovered her dead face and used her face to open the face recognition so he could access her phone. Remember, he left his phone at that doing drugs the night before before he killed Christine at that house, he didn't have one. That's why when he was blowing up Mia, if you remember, he was on his phone and then all of a sudden it switched to like a no caller ID number. Well it's a different phone. So Wade's dad was just stunned at the callousness and that Wade almost seemed giddy like with excitement when he was explaining everything, like he wanted Steven to just be as excited as he was as to what he had done, including the fact that he now claims that he killed another woman, like right after Christine. So

15:25 asking more about this, what do you mean he killed another woman, Wade nonchalantly and with excitement in his voice, recounted how he killed another woman right after he left Christine's house. Well, if I'm gonna be reality here, it wasn't right after Christine's house. He actually went to meet Mila, the girlfriend, but they ended up getting in that fight. Remember the whole debacle at the spa with Mia and then the car wrecked. Yeah, he went and did all of that, beat Mia up, and then when he sped away from that whole situation, he was all worked up. He was on the prow to do more damage. And this is where his path would, unfortunately cross with another woman just trying to walk to work. This woman's name was Diane Ruez. She was forty three years old. Now, Diane was a Hispanic woman, and she had full round cheeks.

16:24 When you see photos of her, you know I'm gonna post them, full round cheeks, always smiling, y'all. Always when you look at her pictures, just this big grin. She has these chubby round cheeks and just looks like the kind woman that you know your mom's friend or something like that. Just look just a nice lady, and she looks kind. She was a hard working woman. She spent her days working as a bartender at the Moose Lodge in Cape Coral, and everyone at the lodge loved her. They said that she was the quote heartbeat of the bar. She was beyond dependable, and this was proven, y'all, because her work record was that she had never missed a shift in five years. She was dedicated and she was the proud mother of three kids, a grown twenty four year old son and a teenage son and a teenage daughter who were her world. She was also lucky in love.

17:22 She was happily engaged to be married, and it just seemed like her life was coming together and things were going well. She was described as lively, kind and genuine and someone who actually loved their job. She loved what she did, and she was also a proud grandmother and she looked forward to family events. She just loved being with her kids and with her grandbaby. She also, and this is important, was a dog lover and she had her beloved pup. It was a Yorki. His name was Blue Blu, and she's always snapping photos and posting photos of old blue. Diane was looking forward to seeing her son, her teenage son. He was going to debut in his school marching band in just a few weeks. As she was walking to work, and I'm sure that she was just thinking about the fun to come as she walked to work on that fateful morning of October seventh. So as she walked to her job, she was dressed in a light blue shirt, jeans. She had on black shoes.

18:22 I'm sure they're the non slip ones, right. She's a bartender, and she was close to Hector Calavadra Elementary School when a man stopped and asked her for directions. And as a woman in the service industry, she was inclined to help, and so she was going to help the guy. She approached the car and she was going to give clear instructions. I just feel that in my soul that was her goal, right, let me help this guy out while I'm on my way to work. But at some point after she approached that car, Wade Wilson grabbed her and he forced her into that vehicle, and I was brought back to the previous episode my mind of where he grabbed Mila, and I can only assume that the struggle was very similar, as she fought him off as he tried to pull her into the car. She also was known to carry this colorful purse on her shoulder, which I think would have caught Wade's attention because he was needing money to get out of town and maybe that purse caught his attention.

19:20 And this is we know this is true in some capacity because Diane lost her purse at some point in the struggle, because it was turned in to the elementary school later that day when so a good Samaritan found it. Wade would claim to Steven the Biodad that she got into the car willingly and then he ended up killing her and dumping her. But while Wade's account of killing Diane proved true in the fact that she would be found dead, how she got in that car, I'm just finding that very unlikely that she got in on her own accord, considering when Diane's body was found, it would have been found a couple of days later. Her nose was broken when she was found, so it sure seemed like she had been punched in the face, which if you think back to what happened to Mila, she too was punched in the face. Also, it was known that she had to have been she being Diane had to have been in Christine's car, Christine Milton's car that waded stolen, because remember when they found the vehicle, there was blood in the passenger side. Well, that blood that they found back at Mateo's Graphics in the vehicle was matched to Diane Ruez's. So if she had gotten into the car willingly, why the hell was she bleeding everywhere in the car?

20:39 I just in my gut feel like he punched her in the face once she got close, disabled her, and then shoved her into the vehicle. Also was the fact that a neighbor who lived nearby the area where Diane's body would be found, he was having breakfast that morning with his wife and he noticed a black car going back and forth and back and forth multiple times, and it struck him as odd what he was seeing. But it wasn't until the next day when crime scene tape and crime scene photos excuse me, not photos, but people showed up and then he realized, hm, that must have been connected. He also started smelling something horrible in that day or two span of what he saw and he now realized I must have been smelling a dead body.

21:27 So what happened to Diane Ruez y'all very similar to Christine's violent death. Diane dies of blunt force trauma and strangulation. Now, this is what Wade explained to his dad. He said he saw a second girl walking down the street and he asked her for directions, and she got in the car while they were driving. He then started choking her while he was driving. He killed her. He then was looking for a place to dump her body, and once he found a spot, he felt like was good and that he could really hide her and no one would find her. He pulled her out of the car. When he did this, though, he came to the realization Diane was still breathing. He hadn't killed her. So what did he do? I'm glad you asked. He got back into the car and he ran her over again and again and again and again and again. His goal, according to Wade in his own words, and this is a direct quote, his goal was quote to make her look like spaghetti.

22:43 Stephen was just taken aback at how excited Wade was and how he seemed to want Stephen to share in this thrill, this excitement that he got as he discusses what he had done to this woman, he felt proud about it. He came across as remorseless, going into great detail about both of these women's death to Stephen, and he was saying he was confident no one was going to find her body. He had stored her well, he had shoved her away well. So while initially Stephen was not wanting to turn Wade in and he almost wanted to help him, after hearing the details, he realized, man, I got attorney men. And one direct quote from Stephen Testaseco that made me think a lot of him was he said, I thought to myself, what if that woman was my wife or my daughter? How would I feel?

23:40 So the mother, friend, and wife to be who was kind enough to try to give directions to a stranger he wanted to turn into spaghetti. Stephen had enough at that point, and as he spoke to Wade, his wife Melanie was listening. It was on speakerphone, so Melanie was listening and she started text messaging the officers, the detectives that were looking for Wade, and she's the one that gave the address to them to the Marshall's office so that they could go and try to get Wade into custody. Stephen remained on the phone and was actually still on the phone with Wade when the police arrived, and he told him, look, it's over. You need to put your hands up. Don't do anything stupid so you don't get shot, and that's exactly what Wade did. Diane Ruez's body wouldn't be found for a total of three days from the time that Wade killed her, and she laid out in the sun decomposing, so her body wasn't found until October tenth, and she was under some brush, like under a tree near a Sam's Club in the area, and her body, as you can imagine, was in horrible condition, especially after sitting out in the Florida sun for three days. She was not visible from the street. She had been tucked in under the brush, but she was crumpled on the ground and she was missing a shoe, and according to

25:14 the reports, she was in an advanced state of decomposition. So her autopsy was completed by doctor Thomas Coin, and you know, she arrived in in the body bag. She was still clothed whenever he received her and I could leave it at that, but I want you to know what this woman suffered. It's not that simple. Externally, she was in the puture faction decomp stage and unfortunately, and the reason I bring this up is because I think about her kids, and I think about her family and the fact that they would want to have a proper funeral for her. But that couldn't be because animals had scavenged on her and parts of her ears and her nose were missing and as men before, her nasal bone was fractured, Her hyoid and her thyroid cartilage in her throat were broken. She had multiple rib fractures both front and back. The condition of her body was that she was bloated. Her belly was huge and bloated from the gases that were escaping during the decomp Her skin was starting to slip off on the hands. Her face was unrecognizable.

26:24 There were large amounts of maggots all over her body, and at the autopsy, the doctor went on to say that her nasal bone was exposed. It was so broken and then scavenged upon it was an obvious fracture to her face. Her left breast had a horizontal laceration under it. There were contusions on both of her arms and on her back, hemorrhaging to the right side of her neck down into the fat and into the tissue as well as into the muscle. She was strangled with an immense mount of force. The left side of her hyoid bone, which is that bone that's commonly broken after strangulation, it was fractured. And you have these things they call the horns that are right above your Adam's apple, those two horns that are on top of it snapped fractured. She had fractures from her first to her eleventh rib. Far greater than fifteen pounds of pressure were needed to cause that type of bruising in her neck. Fifteen pounds of pressure just squeezing trying to kill her. Obviously, the fractures from the ribs, and remember her front rib cage and her back, she was basically crushed, broken through and through.

27:43 That would have taken an impressive amount of weight for that to happen, which is indicative of that car rolling over her back and forth and back and forth. And he even mentioned at one point I was listening to the doctor talked through the autopsy, and he said she still had a ring on her hand, and I wonder what that ring must have meant to her. It was still there on her hand after all of this, probably then engagement ring for her betrothed that wanted to marry her. The carotid artery and the carotid on the sides of her necks both sides of the neck were destroyed. The tissue was destroyed, the capillaries were busted, and it proved that the blood flow to her brain was completely and utterly cut off during this strangulation. Her hands and her forearms had bruising, which were classic defense wounds as she tried to defend herself with her broken nose trying to keep him from grabbing a hold of her throat. Her C four, C five, and C seven vertebrae, and the spine in the neck area of her spine all had hemorrhage to them. According to the doctor, involuntary breathing stopped through all of the force, and the hemorrhaging tells the doctor that she was absolutely alive during all of this.

29:06 She may not have been fully conscious, but she was certainly alive, meaning she could have regained consciousness and known she was being crushed to death. Before she actually expired. And if it's a possibility, then it's too much for me. The injuries to her neck were so severe that the doctor said that eventually she would have died than that she could not have survived this attack. This was three kids mother. He did this too, an innocent woman who tried to help him. And it's sick. And I don't want to add too many characters into the story, but to give you a little more information, it turns out that Wade Wilson met Miela, the girlfriend he had beat up. Originally, he met her through her ex boyfriend who she would still see time to time, named Tommy. Tommy was also friends with one of Wade Wilson's ex girlfriends and her name was Kelly. I know, beautiful name. Now it turns out, well all of this is going on. Kelly, Wade's ex, messaged Mela and she was wanting Mila to take pictures and to talk about all the abuse that she had just suffered at the hands of Wade beating her up.

30:35 And she too, Kelly said, I also was tied up for hours and beaten by Wade, and I would love for you to take pictures of your wounds we can use. We can be a force together against Wade. So that said, Kelly was talking about that with Mila, but now she was also messaging Mela with something else. She was like, girl, I was told something by another friend of mine, and I don't know if it's true. That friend that was talking to Kelly was none other than Josh Lukage, the guy from Matteo's Graphics. And Josh who had called nine to one one, remember after Wade went there wanting money and all that and then left the car, Josh had called Kelly. So if you're following this whole spider web of ex's, they all run in the same circles, is what's going on. Supposedly, Wade had told Josh that he had killed someone, and then Josh told Kelly, who then texted Mela to say, my god, do you think this is real? Could this be true? And this story is hard for me to tell you in order because it's figured out after the fact, you know what I'm saying.

31:43 But on October the eighth of twenty nineteen, that was when Wade Wilson was arrested for these gruesome crimes that he had committed against these women. Kelly around the same time, was telling Mela, look, I'm genuinely concerned for a I don't know her, but I think her name is Christine. Because remember, these girls don't know anything about what I've just told you. At this point. They haven't talked to police, they haven't done in this been a part of any of the story other than what they had experienced. But the women in this story are about to come in strong together because Mela is listening to Kelly, They're not having this animosity that they both loved the same man. No, they both recognized he did us both wrong, and even though Mela had feelings for Wade, she wanted to know the truth. So Mela contacts police about this supposed murder that Kelly told her about, and they say, look, come in, we need to talk. So Mela was a complete and total open book for detectives, sharing anything and everything that she could. If she asked once, y'all, she asked five times about worrying about a girl she didn't know, Christine.

33:01 She kept saying, is any of what I'm saying making sense? Is there a girl named Christine? I really think Can y'all go check? Can you look at his phone records, Can you do something. I'm really worried about a girl named Christine, but I don't know who she is, and it just it just did something for me, just as a woman. It did something for me that this Christine. I want you to know Meela understood that this Christine was probably the woman that spent the night with her boyfriend the night before. Miela was smart enough to figure this out, that Christine was probably in her hellcat with Wade. But she still was worried about this girl's safety. Please check on her after what he's done to me. I don't want him to have hurt her. And I feel like Mela is a good person at heart, and I feel like Kelly is a good person at heart. They both wanted to find this woman named Christine considering what they had both experienced with Wade. So, y'all this and it's not an interrogation, I guess, but it's taped, and it goes on for a very long time. I watched all of it, and eventually the police say, all right, Mela, I hate to break it to you, but we're gonna have to take your phone into custody. We're gonna have to take it into evidence because we've got to look through your phone calls to verify everything that's gone on.

34:13 And that's when Mela goes, Okay, do I get my phone back? Because this is how I run my spots through my phone. I'm like, I'm sorry, you know you might need to go get you another phone for right now. And she says, okay, well, can you tell me is this girl okay? Did y'all check on her? And that's when that detective looks at her and says, look, I'm gonna shoot you straight. We do have a body. And Mela's reactions it's clear to anyone who watches it that she is horrified. She grabs her face and she falls back in the chair in the room, and she's clearly you can just see it in her body language, like, oh my god, that could have been me. Oh my god, oh my god, he hurts someone. He tried to kill me, and then he went and he killed someone. But then she cries out and she says it out loud. It's just like this this terance that she just utters out and she's thinking out loud, and she goes, oh my god, oh my god, if I had never gotten him out of jail. This wouldn't have happened. Everyone warned me, They told me this was going to happen. I wish I had left him in jail. Oh my god, this poor girl.

35:13 And you can feel that she just is taking total responsibility for what has happened to Christine, even though it's not her fault, but she feels that she somehow has played a role in this. And something even sadder while this is happening is she grabs tissue and Mila starts wiping her nose because her nose is still bleeding from when Wade beat the shit out of her. She's an injured woman who is now horrified, crying. Her nose is bleeding from being brutalized, and she's realizing I was too late, or she feels like I was too late. This poor Christine girl is dead. Oh my god. Now Wade in the meantime, he's behind bars and now he's decided I want to talk to detectives, so specifically, he's going to get time with Detective Nick Jones. And he's in this large room. It's got a table in the middle of it.
